First time visting . I wanted to love this place. I love the Christian theme . I just have to be honest . The coffee was just not very good. I ordered a small iced latte . It was FILLED with ice , and after 4 sips it was gone . It really tasted no different than a McDonald’s Iced coffee. The difference is the McDonald’s ice coffee is huge and 1 dollar. I paid over 8 dollars for this one drink! Very disappointed . The vibe is very nice , but for the cost to be more than Starbucks , the drink needs to be top notch.

I recently visited Holy Grind Coffee Shop in Kannapolis and had a very uncomfortable experience. I was working from there with my daughter when I noticed an employee walking around with a gun holstered behind her back. While I understand people have the right to bear arms, seeing a weapon openly in a Christian coffee shop made both of us uneasy. I didn’t even realize she worked there at first, until I saw her staring at me and walking back and forth between the couches and behind the counter, even eating in between.
This was unsettling, and it took away from the experience. I personally feel that a workplace like this should have clearer boundaries around weapons, especially when there are families and customers present.
To top it off, the banana and cream smoothie I ordered was disappointing. It tasted like a cup of crushed ice and milk with a faint taste of banana. I’ve been to the concord location and ordered the same thing and it was made much better. I also ordered a matcha latte, it was okay but tasted a bit watered down.
I was hoping for a nice, relaxing spot, but unfortunately, this visit did not meet expectations at all.

We always love going to the HG we make it an every week occasion if possible! We love issac, shila, and kaleb and the rest of the staff we dont know individually.

I absolutely love love love their bubblegum unicorn frappe. It’s delicious. I could drink it all day long especially on hot days when I’m out n about. I use to get them at the concord location but they stopped selling them so now whenever I go to kannapolis to drop daughter off at her dads I make it a point to stop & get one at kannapolis location. Plz plz don’t stop making this flavor. Can’t get it literally anywhere else.

Needed to get some work done one saturday morning and this was the perfect place to hang for an hour. Loved the vibe and all the natural lighting, plenty of seating options, fantastic smoothie too!

Lady at the drive through kept repeating herself as if we were idiots. “What size” was all she would say to us regardless of us trying to continue with our order. She was rude, don’t know how else to put it. She has a sarcastic smile on her face and slow blinked, my husband thought she was saying “hot or iced” that’s how much sarcasm was in her voice. Also $21 for two large hug in a mugs. I can see why it’s not very busy lol
