We tried this place for the first time last night via UberEats delivery. The fried chicken was honestly the best I’ve ever had! Even after a 25 min car ride to our house, it was still crispy, hot, and juicy - and the flavor was outstanding! I also tried the soul roll which was SO good! We’ll definitely be back because now I know where the good chicken is!!
Food is always hot & fresh... and consistent. I've been going here a year now. I've tried a couple of other restaurants, but ain't none of them touching this one. So if you want some hot and fresh Soul food, this is it. The owner is so friendly and makes you feel welcome. Yall need to try this soul food restaurant. You will be coming back, that's for sure.
Have visited Vells several times and love the chicken mac and cheese and sweet potatoes..Can't wait to order again..like 14 min...

It's a clean, drama-free spot perfect for family gatherings, with wheelchair accessibility for all. The food is cooked fresh and always amazing. The menu is growing with vegetarian options, and the kid's menu is enough to fill any hungry teenager. Portions are huge, and the chicken meal is so much better and cheaper than other places. The parking is a bit funny, but once you get in, you are good.
