The guy working was very rude and judgmental based off what I look like. Went to pick up an DoorDash order, got accused of smelling like or being around someone who smells/smoke like weed. Got questioned like he was the police. Was not allowed to pick up the order after being respectful and ensuring the man that the weed smell wasn’t coming from me. On top of there was a customer who was there prior to my arrival. Don’t even waste your time ordering food there. The restaurant had a dirty odor when walking in.

Man!!!! I ordered $40 worth of food on DoorDash and the ETA was for 4:47pm and it is now 5:18pm.. where’s my food? No where because they decided to put all DoorDash orders on hold!!! Are you kidding me!! Will never recommend nor use this restaurant

I ordered a one person meal that came up to $35.00 and gave a $5.00 tip. After waiting 20 minutes for my carry out order. I will say the turkey ribs were delicious however the greens were loaded with vinegar also very soggy the rice was old & under cooked “hard” my bread was laid on top which made it soggy as well. I’m pretty sure I paid $40.00 for warmed up leftovers. The owner was polite to me but very rude to a staff member. I literally felt bad for the poor kid. I’m really big on supporting black owned businesses but I will never return to this one.

Not terrible but, here’s the “twist”, it’s way over priced for the quality and not everything is fresh. The ribs tasted like they were in the freezer for 2 months before microwaving them to be put in my plate.

My sister is a door dash driver she went in to pick up an order and was told and I quote "We don't serve your kind" in other words she was a white woman! This place SUCKS! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! This is 2025 for heavens sakes! Racist people suck!!!!!!

I can tell that most of the people in this city don't know what good Soul food is cause this ain't it. Lil young girl at the register wouldn't give me change back so I had to ask her. Then she tells me they don't have no change. I haven't been back since. And the food was not good.

The bald headed black guy is the rudest person in any food place that I have been to. From California to North Carolina.
He is rude from the start.
Whatever his family issues are at home, he needs to keep that to himself.
This place will close down in under a year

Terrible customer service!!! I walk in and a member of the staff sees me and walks away! (I have never been in this restaurant before for context) and a few minutes later a guy comes out and is terribly rude to me starts talking down to me and having sly comments. I didn’t eat in this place I was just picking up a DoorDash. The service alone was so terrible like no wonder this place was dead empty

No one was in line rude lady told me to get in back.of the line while doing a grubhub order. Stepped on something sticky on the floor one mean employee said our floor is always sticky ... worst place in concord Kannapolis area to do business with you see how many customers you. Are losing for your rudeness??
