Food is down home, like your momma made it. Had ox tail, mac n cheese and collards. The meat was seasoned just and the Mac n cheese was heaven sent. The place wasn't fancy but very clean. Spoke to the cook and you could tell she put some love in that plate. Bless you all and thank you!

Sanitation Grade is 91.? Didn't see that until we had already got our plates. We did not get sick 🙏 The dining area isn't bad. Food bar area was off-puttingly messy. Tea was sour/spoiled. Will not return. I did like the sweet potatos and the chicken/gravy/rice.

I went in and asked for a beef stew. She handed me a plate for In stay with a big piece of meat. The cook came by and said something to her and she put that plate to the side and got me a to go plate with no beef stew meat at all. She gave me a piece of bone with a joint in it and I didn’t even get a chance to try it. The bake chicken was real good with the rice. I’m trying to be fair. This little place can be a real money maker with some changes in the attitude and a little bit of renovation. Good food over all.

I’ll never stop there again. I get there at 9am and there’s no food except some liver pudding that looks like scraps. She didn’t even offer to cook anything. Places like this is why folks are always eating fast food. So disappointed!!!

Amazing little spot if you want a place that has AMAZING BACON AND FRESH SAUSAGE come here me and my husband ate for $12 thats a drink each with eggs bacon sausage and toast and its ran by the nicest people i dropped my toast and they gave me another without charging me VISIT THIS LOCAL GEM THEY DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS.🥰

Found this place in a near me search and it did not disappoint. It is a quaint little spot but the food is delicious. The ladies behind the counter were very warm and friendly. I felt like I was at grandma's house for Sunday dinner. Looking for some good southern cooking you can't go wrong with any of their dishes. I would've posted a picture but I was too excited about my smothered turkey wings, collards, and grape Kool-aid. This place definitely deserves a return visit.
Grills been there for a long time run by Donell and his daughter has taken over food preparation is outstanding if you hadn't been there you need to stop by and get a plate of food just outside of Kenansville on Highway 50 on the right

This restaurant is a hidden gem!! You have to know it's there to find it. My sister's and I passed by it a couple of times. The food was very yummy and cooked to perfection. The service and cleanliness was top notch! Just make sure you bring cash because they don't accept debit or credit cards. We will definitely be coming back!
