After stopping at the North Carolina welcome center late at night and feeling very uncomfortable and unsafe, I stopped at BigBoy’s truckstop. Everyone was friendly, it was big, brightly lit and I felt comfortable and safe.
Excellent old school family truckstop vibes!!! Everything you need. Decent priced showers and food in the deli. Awesome club sandwich and the onion rings were homemade! The fuel price alone is worth the stop...WILL DEFINITELY STOP HERE AGAIN!!!!

As a female driver of color**I kept getting asked if l lived in the area. I asked if laundry was working & was replied with* if no sign up it should be 🤔 while some employees were pleasant, I received 'the double look' which made me hurry back to my truck.
Food wasn't so bad.
I had a blown tire & BOSS SHOP...
