This was our second stop here this week and our second time, overall. I got hamburger steak last time and it was delicious. The roasted cabbage was excellent and my family also really enjoyed their food. We all got the salad bar tonight and everything was fresh with a great selection. I wish we had known how good this place was sooner!

I think the food is wonderful and the staff are super friendly. HOWEVER, the owner’s “friend” ruined the end of my son’s 4th birthday dinner. We were getting our things together after we finished eating and this RUDE older man called our entire family pigs and said he needed to get a shovel for the mess that our 1 year old made. HE’S ONE! There were approximately 4 tater tots, 3 small fries, and 1 straw on the ground. A typical mess for a toddler learning to feed himself. When our son is done with his food he throws it on the ground, usually to feed our dog. We weren’t even given the chance to clean up the mess before he insulted our family. The staff were super friendly in helping me clean the mess, and apologized for his actions. Apparently he went outside and apologized to my husband but the fact that he caused a scene over a few pieces of food on the floor baffles me. It makes me not want to go there again for fear of seeing him. Do you know how dehumanizing it is to be called pigs? I can only pray for this man, and hope he does not treat his own family this horribly.

Nothing super special about this place. Cafeteria style restaurant. Probably need more people working during the busy times. I think they used one egg for my omelet. Was very thin. The home fries were the best thing. I'd go back, better than a Pilot/flyingJ .

COME EAT HERE! We have lived down the road about 10min away for 3 years and landed in here the other day. Number 1, the ladys made us feel very welcome and did an excellent job at explaining the menu and specials. In todays world where teenagers have a staring contest with you and you have to say hello, this goes back to the way service should be. They took alot of pride at what they were doing. I got a burger and my wife got a patty melt with FF. Both were incredible! Hot, fresh, and cooked spot on. We will definitely be coming back to try the other items. I can't say enough good about this hidden gem inside the truck stop!
