Friendly people, stopped in to get some fuel and water for the horses. Plenty of room for drivers, clean restrooms. Good warm food. I highly recommend everyone to come here.

We live locally and eat here regularly. The service and food are fantastic. The have the best burgers and fried pork chops of any where I've ever eaten. Highly recommend to everyone.

Excellent little old school truck stop Mom and Pop cafe. I have had both lunch and breakfast here once or twice. The ladies are always on point and friendly. I never felt any sideways looks. The food is so much better than your big chain fast food restaurants. I will always stop in when in the area.

In a truck stop so it’s convenient. Waitress are friendly. Normally only get breakfast here. Coffee is terrible and served in a plastic cup. Eggs, bacon and biscuits are good, but the potatoes are terrible.Good coffee and fresh home fries with onion and peppers would bump it up 5 stars.

Lowell Mill Restaurant won out for lunch as it wasn't far from the Atkinson Milling Gristmill Museum and also close to the Tobacco Farm Museum. Service was friendly when we arrived and they had the menu on a board and some laminated menus on the counter. I went with a burger and fries. Little did I know that it would take over 20 minutes and when it came out everyone else was pretty much done eating. The fries were also a very skimpy portion. (I hadn't eaten any yet when I took the photo) The burger was a good size with lettuce, tomato slices bacon and mayo. It would have been nice to know the burger was going to take so long to prepare as they said burgers are always 20 minutes. The manager did come around to check on the table so that was nice. I'm not sure I'd return though.

Excellent southern comfort food and close home cooked meals. Service was excellent and reasonably priced.

This place was accommodating, very good customer service. It's pretty cheap for this much food for the two of us. We only pay $ 28 for that and 1 drink. All seafoods on our plate.

The food took 25 mins to be served and it was bland , ordered grilled chicken which had no seasoning at all and grilled on one side only . Spent 22$ for a plate . The waitress didnt give me no cutlery to eat my food with waited another 7-8 mins while standing patiently to get there attention and didnt bother to say sorry . ??????????. Good for the folks who enjoy this kind of food definitely not coming back . Not my cup of tea . I apologise for being honest
