Here on vaca and decided to stop by after watching a review on YouTube and wanted to try the Lebanon Blonde Pistachio cinnamon latte coffee thing. When I walked in, there was no line but I waited there as if there was one. Bunch of teens working fraternizing with their non-working teen friends - ignoring responsibility. No one greated me or asked what I wanted. I was just standing there awkwardly - like I was invisible. Finally…the girl behind the counter realized i wasn’t standing there for my health and came up to the register. I told her what i wanted and she never explained how pick up works. Anyway, after waiting and not understanding the process, i walked around a bit to check out the place. It was small with some interesting things - figured someone would call out my drink when it was ready but…Nope! The coffee was - meh -didn’t really taste anything more than cinnamonny coffee- no pistachio - unwelcoming atmosphere.

A bohemian vibe. The pistachio muffin was great as was the mocha. Love the staff. Real art for sale on the walls; something for everyone's taste. (The restroom is beautiful.)

Coffee was great but the lady taking the order was a bit off putting / rude. I get that it’s early & you have to be taking people orders but a “how are you doing” goes a long way. My family & I stopped here because of the good reviews. Just work on the customer service part & you will be all good :)
Best coffee shop in OBX hands down. The Sweet Baby Jesus is my personal favorite. Atmosphere is great always featuring local artwork. Pastries and bagels are fantastic. The sriracha everything bagel is amazing. Friendly staff too!
You must go! My favorite coffee shop. Delicious coffee and pastries, and the best atmosphere.

You HAVE to go to Ashley’s Espresso! The staff is kind, FAST, and talented. I got an iced caramel macchiato (best ever!) and a bacon egg & cheese croissant. It had far more flavor than I expected- so yummy. Loads of art and local flair inside for purchase.

Ashley’s is mine and my sisters top favorite spot in OBX. It’s always our first stop when we visit and we go back every morning. The coffee is delicious and the people there are so friendly. Look forward to coming back next year!

I’ve been 10+ times this summer alone, always ordered something different and have NEVER had a bad drink. I’ve also purchased their grounds to make at home and the quality is awesome. Love all the little trinkets and art prints for sale from locals, it makes the shop so fun to hang out it in and browse. It’s definitely on the cozier side (yes, it’s small) but it adds to the vibe and makes it more special. There’s outdoor seating too, which is helpful for those with little kids who might have a hard time with keeping their hands off all the items inside (i.e. my own toddler). Yes, parking is limited but I’ve found that if you circle the block once, a spot usually opens up every few minutes, even in peak tourist season. Staff is friendly and gives the place a nice family business feeling.
