Staying at the hotel went to get drinks, bartender Dani ignores the customers,if you are a young guy she will wait on you,we went a second time thinking we were wrong,no,we did everything to get her attention,people came in after us,as long as it was a young guy ordering beer she was fine ,we walked out,along with 3other people that said they were there longer than us,went across the street,and they were happy to serve us,hope Dani learns how to wait on everyone,just not the young guys

We walked in and right away we could tell they didn’t want us to be there. We had a large party and they refused to take orders from some people. Rude and cold bartenders. Honestly felt unwelcome and uncomfortable from the second we stepped inside.

My wife and I visited OBX for our honeymoon and this place was one we went to for drinks. We arrived at 7:15pm and they close a 9:00pm. We were able to have only 2 drinks each during this time due to a white older female staring at us and refused to serve us after waiting more than 20 mins between drinks. She stood at the bar the entire time while the bartender was backed up helping other people. Overall the place isn’t terrible, but she made it worse than it had to be.

I was pleasantly surprised by Beachcombers! Good drinks, great view, and plenty of beachfront space to eat and drink. There was a vegan burger option with vegan cheese, which is always nice to have when traveling in seafood-dominated beach towns. Bartenders were also knowledgeable about what did and did not contain dairy. I wasn’t expecting such a cute bar behind a hotel to be honest, but I enjoyed my time here quite a bit :)

We ended up here by accident and it was amazing! The weather was perfect and the outdoor seating was beautiful.

The service was very good and the drinks were tasty and reasonably priced.

Definitely try this place when you are in Kill Devil Hills!

Host was incredibly rude and made it seem like she didn’t want us to eat there. Food took forever to get to our table and was incredibly bland, uninspired, and cold. Would not pay what we did for what we ordered.

Wouldn’t recommend if you’re visiting Outer Banks, there are much better options.

was very excited about this place because the drinks looked good but wow we were not expecting such a bad attitude from the hostess, cold pizza, rice the texture of mashed potatoes and a general unwelcome vibe. to be fair, there was only one man running food for the entire restaurant, hats off to him he did an amazing job...everything else not so much. stick to the drinks if you dare to venture here. locals only apparently?

Excellent place to hang out with friends.. we try some appetizers but flourless chocolate torte taste like dark chocolate cheesecake.
