If you are on Bodie Island and haven't been to Billy's to pick up their legendary FRESH out of the water tuna salad, you haven't really experienced the Outer Banks. I bring at least 3 pints home every trip, just to stretch out the yummm a little longer. In the summer, their farm-fresh eggs are also a go-to.

Called Billy's in the evening on Oct 18th, 2025 after unsuccessfully finding a place that had oysters and they did. Not to mention by the 100 as well. They offer other fresh seafood but I can not recall the particulars of the selection. They also have a convenience section that had some goodies.

Bought shrimp, clams and oysters all very good. The place to go if you don't mind preparing yourself or they will do cook things for you for nominal price. Price is the best part unless you don't mind paying three times as much in a restaurant.
