My friend and I chose to stop by here for a meal before leaving the beach. The store was so stylish but food was average.
The day we went was not that busy but the staff served people in a rush.
Pancake was pretty classic, fluffy but slightly dry. Egg was light but dry too.

Chocolate chip pancakes were a little dry, but overall it's not bad.

Stopped here for breakfast on the way home from our off season visit to Manteo. It's a cute spot with lots of tables inside. Our server was syrupy sweet. She excitedly explained some of the menu items like the breakfast potatoes.
We ordered the steak omelette and the biscuits and gravy. The steak omelette was delicious and just needed a little pepper for flavor. The biscuits served with the gravy were not our favorite. We weren't sure if they were homemade or from a freezer pack. Those breakfast potatoes were delicious and you should order them.
At the end of our meal our ultra-friendly waitress thanked us and told us to "get the hell out." It was a hoot.

Are you kidding? $5.19 for a tiny side gravy, even though it’s about $6 for an entire side of biscuits AND gravy, the waitress was very nice but the way she said it sounded like the side gravy was free, and she definitely didn’t warn us this TINY side of gravy was $5.19! NOT WORTH IT! And on the menu it says around $3 for the lemonade, and she suggested the strawberry one so we got strawberry WITHOUT SAYING it’s about an extra $3 for this TINY tiny tiny little pump of strawberry syrup on the bottom. What a rip off, make sure you’re checking what you’re getting charged for we felt scammed. You can see this tiny little $5.19 side of gravy in the photo, food tasted good but with these prices you should WARN the customer you’re charging up the 🍑 for this stuff.

We had breakfast here our first trip to OBX and first day and it was among the best. Very laid back, friendly atmosphere. The perfect blend of beach culture and Southern hospitality. Service was superb. Fresh, delicious coffee. Food was fantastic and fast. We got there early, not long after they opened. Glad we did because it filled up fast. Shrimp and grits were great! A must go for breakfast in OBX.

Pancakes were burt on the bottom and made it impossible to eat. Turned it into rubber. Very large pancakes, take up the entire plate. Probably would have been okay if not burnt.
