I had an awful experience at this sushi restaurant. The place was far from clean. There were cockroaches crawling around, which was incredibly off-putting and made me question the hygiene of the entire place. The tables were sticky and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. On top of that, the sushi itself was disappointing—definitely not fresh. I won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

This hibachi steakhouse was an interesting experience! To begin the restaurant is very small, walking to our table, we had to squeeze in between other tables, which was a little uncomfortable, even for average-sized people. We were served the soup and salad, very quickly, and they were both pretty good. The hibachi experience is where it quickly went downhill. To begin, our cook was VERY VERY animated - I know hibachi is supposed to be an experience, but the comments, jokes, and overall experience was just too over the top - so much so that we thought maybe we were at a drag queen show, not at a Japanese steakhouse. Then, the food made everything worse.... the chicken was COOKED, like COOKED, so bad there were chargrill marks on the chicken and black burnt pieces throughout our rice... after a few bites, we quickly decided we were not going to eat the chicken and just pick through the rice and eat the rice, not the hard charcoal pieces. When we were done, our plates still having over 2/3 of our plate with dry, overcooked, burnt food, the waitress asked if we needed a box. The answer quickly was a "no"... weirdest thing was she didn't even ask if everything was okay, she just took our plates and returned with the check. The entire experience really felt more like a drag queen show with inedible food. Will not be returning here which is unfortunate because we like hibabchi.
The sushi here is phenomenal. The fish was definitely high quality; both the special rolls and the plain tuna/salmon rolls were equally delicious. Maybe it's just because I'm from inland, but this was some of if not the best sushi I've had.
Definitely not your NJ hibachi but it was good. Biggest note, they don't use or have garlic which was odd, noodles are extra, and you don't get your scoop of ice cream at the end.

This was my wife's niece and nephew's first time at a hibachi restaurant. This place caters to large groups. We came a little after opening and they were able to seat our party of 10. I would highly recommend getting in as close to opening as possible as this place does not take reservations. Also, your whole party must be present in order for you to be seated. They did all the standard table tricks like the egg juggling, large flame, and onion volcano. Instead of shrimp pieces, the chef did the food toss with large rice clumps. Everyone was happy with their food. My steak and scallops were well cooked. Also I drank a flaming volcano drink for two and it helped me forget how I hate large groups. Service was excellent. The parking lot gets a little tight especially as a wait develops. There is not a waiting area inside the restaurant.
