What kind of a burger restaurant has no lettuce and tomato available for the burgers? That’s Jack Brown’s. You’d think that they could send someone to the store. Small overcooked burgers. Only a slice of pickle comes with it. No napkins other than cocktail napkins.
Amazing Food!! The Ron Swanson burger is banging!
Super fun, eclectic vibe serving delicious burgers with a twist. You have to think outside your typical burger box at this place (my son loved the "Greg Brady" with mac n cheese and BBQ chips as toppings) but it's worth every bite. Additionally, the staff is swift and efficient. Great place in OBX.

Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint Kill Devil Hills is a casual, laid-back spot known for its high-quality food and a wide variety of beers. Their burgers are a standout, with many considering them the best in the OBX area. The Cobra Kai burger is a popular recommendation, and guests can choose from about 7 to 8 different ways to enjoy their burgers, all prepared flavorfully. While some may be disappointed by the lack of certain toppings like lettuce and tomato, the overall consensus is that the food is good, including the delicious cheese fries and fried pickles.
The restaurant's interior features a nostalgic aesthetic with lots of cool stuff to look at, creating a unique dining environment. Servers are attentive and helpful, ensuring that food is served promptly and portions are good. Guests have reported quick service, even during busy times, with some pleasantly surprised by the speed of seating. Although the sides are ordered separately as ala carte items, the overall experience is enjoyable. Some visitors have experienced challenges with parking, especially if driving larger vehicles, so planning ahead may be beneficial. Despite this, Jack Brown's is worth a visit for its great burgers and vibrant atmosphere, making it a favorite spot for many returning guests.
