The hostess doesn’t know how to pick people as they come in the door and seems to pick and choose whoever they want and the prices for your steaks are criminal. It’s obvious this is the only steakhouse in town that’s open because their gouging is ridiculous. The parboiled “dry rubbed”ribs were like jerky.
I got out of there for 80 bucks and I’m still hungry.
I got the JK special which is filet mignon and shrimp. It’s about 2 ounces of filet mignon and six shrimp and the fillet was ice cold.
I really not impressed with this restaurant.

Make sure you are a regular here or you will have people come in and get seated before you. Had the $80.00 dollar steak and have to say it was the worst I ever had, had it done medium rare and it was so tuff could barely cut it my son had the ribs and they were over cooked Texas Roadhouse has better food for way less money no one in our party was impressed at all. Spent $285.00 way over priced save your self some money and go somewhere else

We celebrated our 27th Anniversary on the 21st at JK's-it did not disappoint-Oyster Rockefeller were great-our steak dinners were awesome-delicious dessert-our server Dan was spot on

Pricey- but good... ive found steaks jist as good for half the price ... my chicken skin was burnt to a black crisp- still good but others might not enjoy that.

Great food as usual. (Tonight 10/28)My husband and I typically sit at the bar but brought my mother in law to celebrate her birthday. I did not catch the servers name but she was fantastic start to finish.

Susan was our server and was great! We have been lucky to have her many times and she is always been top notch!

Every experience at JK's is a good one. The staff is always on point from start to finish and the food is always delicious, without fail. We live in Hatteras and love to pop in when we are up that way. Never once have we regretted it!

This restaurant was once one of my absolute favorites — I used to dine here twice a week and always looked forward to the experience. Unfortunately, the quality has noticeably declined in recent visits. The meat has been consistently overcooked, and the ribs, which were once excellent, have become dry and lacking in flavor.

It’s disappointing to see a place that used to set such a high standard fall short of its former quality. Hopefully, management can address these issues and restore the restaurant to the level it once proudly maintained.

Update... just tried it again to give it 1 last shot. Absolutely not a thing has changed. $88.00 cowboy steak and prime rib both under cooked and missing flavor. I'm done.

Jks restaurant is amazing I got there at 4:30 and the manager was outside, we talked to him and he said when we go in to say our names and he would get us a seat. We walk in and tell him our names and we immediately get a seat, I got the ny strip and it was amazing it was cooked perfectly also right when you walk in you will see the steak on the grill right behind the glass which was really cool
