Food was absolutely delicious. Service on the other hand... not so much. Our server wasn't kind and never said more than one word to us. A simple "You're welcome" or "Everything okay?" goes a long way in customer service. Unfortunately customer experience doesn't seem important here. As far as atmosphere, everything was clean and staff seemed to pay attention to cleaning up the area.

I love seafood and though you get quite a selection here, it's a buffet and everything is prepared in a very mediocre manner. The ambience is very cafeteria and because you serve yourself at the buffet people are always on the move which can be distracting-but it's a buffet. The price is very high for what you get. $50/adult for mediocre seafood. They also do not have any prices on the beverage menu. What's that about? The recommended tip on the check is 18% - 25%. However you really are serving yourself so it seems a bit presumptuous especially considering the cost of the food. Overall it is what it says it is - buffet. Not delicious, not cheap but if you are really hungry and know what you are in for....

We've eaten at 3 Georges locations... Virginia Beach...Nags Head...Myrtle Beach... At all 3 locations the oysters taste like mud and have been inedible for years. Now the scallops being served are the size of pencil erasers. I just dont get it...why cant the management team do quality control taste testing. Crab legs were very good... Wait staff was good... Beautiful restaurant interior... However crab legs alone dont justify a $50.00 per person tab. Please step up your game.

By far the most disgusting seafood I've ever eaten, everything had the same disgusting taste to it and the after taste had you reaching for your drink to wash the foul taste out of your mouth. I have eaten at the Williamsburg va location several times and never had any complaints , so I'm thinking either this obx location is a franchise location or the management truly sucks . The fish was stuck to the pan as were the 2 or 3 day old re- heated stuffed mushrooms, the crab legs were dry and you couldn't get them out of the shell hardly but if you did and didn't soak it in butter you would choke on it .the fried oysters were rancid and no doubt re- buffeted from yesterday's buffet, the crab imperial was puke worthy and had the same awful taste shared by every dish on the buffet . I had been to this obx buffet a couple of years ago and was also disappointed but Jimmy's seafood buffet was closed until next season ( Jimmy's is by far a superior seafood buffet and far more options on the buffet) so we decided to try it once more , a mistake that will never be made again .. if you're never had good seafood, you may find this to your liking but if you ever go to Jimmy's in kitty hawk , I guarantee you will never grace the door of the obx captain georges again ..

All you can eat seafood and steak buffet, food was delicious and had many options to please everyone. Forgot to take pictures because I was so excited over eating. Ribeye was delicious option also if anyone isn't a seafood fan. Service went above and beyond and atmosphere was nice yet casual. Definitely recommend!

All things Seafood!! King Crab legs on the buffet. She crab soup, oysters Rockefeller, fresh salad bar, grilled Salmon. You name it, they got it!!
Seafood Buffet was good. Could have more for land lovers section selection there was limited. Only 1 type of crab. Service was good our waitress checked on us promptly

Visiting from NY this was one of the only places that didn't feel like a tourist trap. Reasonably priced menu with quality to go with it. The staff was amazing! Very well coordinated and quick with everything from drink refills to food service, its was impressive to watch and they were all lovely people Shoutout to Kaitlin (if I spelled it right lol) Very clean restaurant with everything from the condition of the tables and chairs to the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Great atmosphere you don't really see or expect from a place like this. Highly recommend. Keep up the great work guys! ?

I've been to a couple of these places and I thought this one was just the same as all the rest. It is a little bit smaller and there were a couple of less offerings but it is what it is. It's roughly $60 all you can eat and the food was good. It was hot and the place was clean. The waiters and waitresses do an excellent job in shuffling folks around and taking the plates off your table. if you've ever been here, you know what the experience is like and I was not disappointed. I'd go back again during my beach week.

Let's start with the atmosphere, it was a huge place, plenty of seating, and a huge bar. Restaurant was clean and inviting. It was super busy, but we sat down right away. The food was great, always fresh- and you never had to wait for crab legs because they were constantly refilling them. There is a variety of seafood no matter what you're looking for, grilled, broiled, grilled and fried. It is expensive about $50 a person so keep that in mind. Kids are super cheap for my four year old it was only $5.99 buffet price. I'd go again at some point. Service was great.
