Kelly's Outer Banks Catering

We hired Kelly’s for the Friday night dinner before our son’s wedding in Kitty Hawk, and they absolutely exceeded every expectation. It was a gathering for our out-of-town guests and the bride’s family, and Kelly’s made it feel like a true celebration from start to finish.

The food was phenomenal — perfectly fried chicken, tender pulled pork, creamy mac and cheese, delicious crab puffs, and fresh grilled veggies. The shrimp were a huge hit, and everyone was raving about the key lime pie (honestly one of the best we’ve ever had!) and the rich, fudgy brownies.

The Kelly’s team was professional, friendly, and wonderfully accommodating. They made everything seamless so we could simply relax and enjoy time with family and friends. The setup was beautiful, the service was smooth, and the food—simply unforgettable.

We can’t thank Kelly’s Catering enough for helping kick off our wedding weekend with such warmth and flavor. Five stars all the way!

The sweet potato biscuits and country ham are out of this world.

Just had my sons' wedding catered by Kelly's. What an excellent decision that was. From the planning, the menu choices, the setting up, to the actual delicious food, it was first class all the way.
Can't say enough good things about them. And, OMG, the food was so delicious.

I recently booked Kelly's for my wedding reception, and the food was outstanding! Not to mention, the customer service is top tier, the employees who delivered the food were so kind and helpful. Two of my favorite menu items were the spinach puff pastry and the crab cakes - seriously, the crab cakes are to die for, especially with the remoulade. I was planning a wedding from out of state, so it was very stressful, but Kelly's was so helpful in easing any concerns I felt. If you need to have an event catered, choose Kelly's!

Food and service was great

If you're looking for a delicious and easy way to feed a large group, check out Kelly's! MaryAnn and the entire team were wonderful. Ordering was easy (with her offering great advice), the food was hot and ready on time, the team at the location pick up were so hospitable, and everyone loved the meal (esp. the fried chicken!). Kelly's is the perfect way to feed a large group with zero stress. I highly recommend them!

Kelly's catering has catered several of our parties and each year we try out different meals, this year was baked chicken and meatloaf with collards, hushpuppies, mac and cheese and coleslaw.
All was excellent but the meatloaf and collards were a big hit.
The dessert was vanilla cheesecake and as a cheesecake fan this was the best I ever had. Can't wait till next time, Thanks

My family got catering two nights from Kelly's, the fried chicken and BBQ packages. They were both delicious, as were the sides (get extra sweet potato biscuits) and the ordering and delivery were both easy.

Just got back from our week long trip to OBX and we are so happy we went with Kelly’s to cater 5 nights worth of dinners for 8 adults. The food was delicious and the deliveries were always on time! The food came hot and ready to go, serving utensils were also provided! Not having to worry about what was for dinner each night and who is doing the cooking/cleanup, was amazing and made our vacation even that more enjoyable. Thank you Kelly’s for everything! We will be sure to use you again on our next visit to the Outer Banks!

This year was the second year our family used Kelly's for family meals during our vacation. The process of ordering was easy, cost was reasonable and the quality of food was excellent. Delivery was on time and not having to cook or take a large group out to a Restaurant made for a relaxing vacation.

Easy, Great Food, and amazing communication! The only complaint was we didn't order enough hush puppies! ;) This was our best day on vacation. We all were able to relax at the beach longer not worrying about dinner that night for the whole family. The kids and adults all were happy with the food and convenience. We will absolutely do this as a new tradition when in the OBX!

We were looking for something different to order to the Vacation House and Stumbled Across Kelly’s OBX Catering … They offer a Taco Bar Delivery that was delicious … we added Buffalo Wings to our order and it was more than enough food …

We traveled to OBX July 2025 from MA and ordered trays from Kelly. Kelly prepared two dinners for us in organized trays for 12 adults. We stayed on the 4x4 beach and we met one of her employees at Twiddy in Corolla to pick up the food. We had chicken Alfredo pasta with Caesar salad (chopped perfectly!) with bread and it was delicious. For the second dinner, we heated up BBQ trays-pulled pork, the best baked beans we’ve ever had, coleslaw, and delicious based Mac and cheese. And can’t forget the biscuits! Kelly was easy to work with and had helpful input on our gluten free and vegetarian guests. Kelly lent us a huge cooler to transport the food in which we dropped off on the way home, (very convenient just make sure you have the car space!) The delivery fee was a little high + we wanted to tip the guy, but that would not deter us from ordering again because everything was very reasonable and made two dinners so easy! Thank you so much Kelly and staff!

We ordered the taco bar from Kelly’s Catering for 40 people. The food and all of the fixings were wonderful! Lots of compliments from the whole group. The ease of feeding 40 people this way was so appreciated 💕 we will definitely be keeping this contact for next time :)
