Khan's mongolian grill

Server didn’t seem to fully understand vegan vs vegetarian, but I think it was fairly obvious what was vegan friendly… everything is cooked on flat-top, it’s scraped down between uses but I am also not sure if they use the same spatula for all orders. It was fine for me but maybe not for anyone with allergies or strong preferences for keeping meat/seafood and veggies separate

Have ate there several times. It's always been wonderful. Not this time. We arrived a little before 2:30. My husband has heart failure and as we live in Hatteras we treat ourselves when we come up the beach. Everyone was very rude. The cook never smiled or greeted us. The waitress was sulky, I had to ask for a straw for my drink. The food arrived barley warm, there was no sending it back as the waitress never came to refill our teas or ask if we needed anything. Customers were coming to the door well before the 3pm closing and were turned away. Not just one group, but several groups. Our bill was almost $60.00. We will be spending our money at another restaurant in the future. We have been good customers since they first opened.

It's a self service buffet However once you fill your bowl then it's cooked and served to you. Most times it's quite good, but occasionally and unfortunately they do burn your selection of veg as it's not moving enough on the grill...

Had a great Togo experience. You walk in, pay for the bowl size you would like. Grab a tray and start making what you want. So it's only as good as you make it. Overall I loved my meal but next time I would make it a bit more spicy 🔥.

I love to choose my own combination of foods and sauces and seasonings!! Delish....my Large bowl was enough for 3 meals!

Food was good, had very good options to select from. The only reason I cannot give it a 5* is because eggs were extra on top of the regular price.

Prices have gone up 50% since our last visit. Was expensive before, ridiculous now. Food quality has dropped - likely canned scallops, etc.. Hate to lose this place, but I don't see it surviving with such high prices and low quality.

Amazing food and very fast service. Honestly the best Mongolian restaurant I’ve ever been to. We will be eating here every time we come to OBX.

Nice quiet atmosphere. Food is delicious. Prices are decent. Portion sizes are huge. It's fun designing your own meal. It would be hard to not like this place.

I went in not expecting great results like what the former Bali Hai restaurant in Durham was like. I have never had good luck trying to recreate the sauces at places where you do your own mixing. But this turned out ok. Will have to try again next year to see if I can repeat it or maybe enhance the flavor

This was our first trip to Khan's and it was pretty satisfying, though very expensive for the amount of food you get. The different variety of food you can select was impressive, but I wish they explained how to get the food more flavorful after it's cooked. I found the way I made my bowl pretty bland, even though I used a ton of sauce and oil. I ended up using more sauce after the bowl was cooked to get the flavor to my liking. We may come back during future vacations, but it won't be high on my list.

First time here and it’s a little overwhelming when you first start your order, but easy enough to figure out. You get your tray, pick your meats, noodles and veggies then choose your sauces. They cook it, add rice and bring it to you.

I also had the egg drop soup. It was good.
