While the hotdogs were fairly decent, the wait time for them was crazy. We waited about 45 minutes, although it was a holiday weekend, there was only one guy making orders. I was also excited about the vegan chili, but it just turned out to be black beans on a hot dog which was…interesting. The fries were spectacular though, some of the best I’ve had in awhile. All things considered I do think they were doing the best they could in the circumstances they were in, the hotdogs...
Would give 10 stars if I could! Discovered this place on our annual OBX trip two years ago and cannot wait to go back every year. Delicious hot dogs, perfectly crispy shoe string fries, fresh tortilla chips for nachos, giant crunchy dill pickles, and love the variety of hot dog and cheese sauce options! Super friendly staff. Absolutely perfect hole in the wall hot dog spot!
The hot dogs and fries were amazing. This place is great. Atmosphere was off when I went cause of the young man at the register. He was very rude and seemed pissed off he had to work. I felt horrible for the older man who seems to own the place. He was trying to be overly nice to everyone to make up for the young man’s attitude and mistakes. Besides the helper with a bad attitude this place is a winner!!
