Great lunch. Service was friendly from both the counter person and cook. The four different dogs we tried were good. As were the fries. Had canned sodas and beer for beverages. Around 6 tables (including outside) for dining in. Will stop back.
While the hotdogs were fairly decent, the wait time for them was crazy. We waited about 45 minutes, although it was a holiday weekend, there was only one guy making orders. I was also excited about the vegan chili, but it just turned out to be black beans on a hot dog which was…interesting. The fries were spectacular though, some of the best I’ve had in awhile. All things considered I do think they were doing the best they could in the circumstances they were in, the hotdogs...
Would give 10 stars if I could! Discovered this place on our annual OBX trip two years ago and cannot wait to go back every year. Delicious hot dogs, perfectly crispy shoe string fries, fresh tortilla chips for nachos, giant crunchy dill pickles, and love the variety of hot dog and cheese sauce options! Super friendly staff. Absolutely perfect hole in the wall hot dog spot!
