We come every year during vacation for their custard and beach fries. We come at least 2-3 times each stay. We love the daily flavors they offer, but even their plain vanilla is absolutely delicious. There's definitely a reason we keep coming back. It's a cute little custard date and it's become our yearly thing. My husband and I even got engaged here... while he proposed with my mouth full of cheese fries!
The outdoor seating is perfect for when we bring out dog with us since they also offer pup cups, if you ask. The staff is also very friendly and answer any questions you have. If you're not sure about a flavor, they do offer tasters as well. I wasn't sure about the marshmallow flavor today, so I'm glad they let me try it. It was amazing in the Sunday I got. We'll be back again next year!

Great on a warm day. Mine was a vanilla custard hurricane with cookie dough and oreo cookie mixed in. My wife's was a chocolate custard hurricane with peanut butter cup mixed in.

Just love this place. Haven't had any sandwich we didn't like. The beach fries are awesome plain or smothered and the custard just doesn't get any better. A must stop for lunch, dinner or just a snack.

The custard is amazing and worth all the calories! We loved the hot fudge sundae and caramel milkshake. Our pup loved his pup cup. Definitely a place I would go to all the time if I lived near by.

Some of the best frozen custard I've had anywhere. Not mass produced and better than the types served as soft-serve. Offering more flavors than just chocolate and vanilla, even changing the feature flavor daily.

The burgers, sandwiches and especially beach fries are excellent as well.

Some of the best fries I have ever had, the milkshakes they make are also pretty good. Staff is consistently welcoming and nice, highly recommend (I miss the plastic souvenir bucket).

Parking: No many parking spots with cars all on the side of road near it. Be careful.

For years I would have said that Kill Devil's is the best place to eat in the Outer Banks, but it has changed. The food is still good, but not as good as it was. The french fries were absolutely covered in black pepper. Too much pepper flavor for me and most kids wouldn't eat fries like that. I appreciate the option of a delicious veggie burger.

I stop here every year with my family. The food is amazing, the customer service is superb.

I had the Carolina Cooley Dog. The best hot dog I have had in a while. I also had an amazing sundae. I highly recommend you give them a try!

Extremely overpriced for fast food quality food. We ordered a burger, adding cheese was about $1.50. The steak and cheese felt like the size of a hot dog in the wrapper. The fries were very salty but the biggest disappointment was the banana split. It had a banana, 3 scoops of melted ice cream, whipped cream & cherry. When we mentioned the missing strawberries & pineapple (as the menu listed) we were told that all the toppings are a purée not actual fruit. We wouldn’t have paid almost $10 for purée toppings.
