This place is so cool! After a hot day sightseeing, the smoothie hit the spot. I ordered the Staycation. Very delicious. Staff very welcoming and chill

I only had the soft serve vanilla ice cream and it had absolutely no flavor and instantly started melting all over the place bcs it was ice milk. The other person that I was with got a chocolate cone with the same result. Need to have better quality soft serve ice cream.

We came here today with my wife and six kids and it was excellent. Delicious smoothies and desserts with clean ingredients and friendly customer service. Good local business to support.

Smoothies are fantastic! Lots of goodies here to snack on. The shop part has some awesome local finds, along with some one of a kind gifts. Worth checking out for sure!

All the ❤️’s for Mom’s!! We come here every time we visit the Outer Banks, it’s my favorite shop by far, and I always leave with at least one new clothing item. Owners Jess & Derek are super cool, kind, and helpful. We’ve also stayed at their AirBnB upstairs a few times, and it’s AWESOME!!

In shop, Jess has done a fantastic job curating cute clothes and gifts, the skater vibe and gear is on point, and the smoothies are delicious. A must do in OBX! Mom’s for the win 🏆.

First off the staff is amazing, so kind, so lovely and made me feel so welcome the moment I walked up to the counter. I needed that today. Secondly, BEST MILKSHAKE I'VE HAD IN MY LIFE. I know, I know, I was just raving about another shake I had a week ago, but this one made me want to cry tears of joy it was so lush. I would cheat on that other shake with this one (and I did). The place is super clean, so cute inside, and again SHAKES ARE TO DIE FOR. Like this would be on my last meal request. Now I just have to see how many shakes I can have for the remainder of time here. Just go, go now!

One of the best places in all of the Outer Banks! The ice cream is absolutely amazing. We got the kiss and the dirty bertie. The kiss was incredibly refreshing and the strawberry puree tasted fresh. The dirty bertie was exactly what the chocolate lover wanted.

The best part of Mom's Sweet Shop? The employees! Everyone was beyond nice. I asked one employee if they had any more sizes of a shirt I wanted in stock. She checked the inventory, went outside, looked around, and was super amazing about helping me! She was so nice to interact with and so were those making the ice cream.

It was one of our last stops of the trip, but it'll be one of our first when we come back!

Mom's is a really great place to end the day! Super great vibes, very nice staff, and good shopping too! All the shakes are delicious (our faves are the Bisco Frisco and the Cake Shake) and the ice cream is great too- don't sleep on the "Broschetta".

Vintage-y milk shake stop with a “skater” store attached to it. Feels and is upscale. The milkshakes are delicious with plenty of options.

Parking: Small and tight parking lot, however, there’s maybe 3-4 “spots” on the side of the road where you could park for overflow. Just be mindful of the sign a ways down that says no parking either side of the street.

Second time was even better!
"Closed on Sundaes" traditional banana split but with super fresh fruit, caramel sauce and toffee made especially magical with the coconut sorbet
Also picked up a little treat since we're headed to Iration, Pepper concert in Roanoke Island

Thanks Mom's Sweet Shop for having such high quality VEGAN treats along with great service!

Vegetarian options: You can substitute coconut sorbet which is a rich ice cream in any of their menu items that show regular ice cream. They are also good about asking if you want whipped cream or not.
