We each got a 2 meat plate. The chicken was delicious and the BBQ was good.
The ribs looked great but were very bland, and it was disappointing.
The slaw was nasty. Baked beans were ok, not much flavor.

All of the sauces were delicious!

Will be back to try it again.

Great BBQ! Stop here every time I make it to the Outer Banks. Their Dry Rub and Sauces are the best and I order them online when I can't stop by the store. Been using their products for 20+ years. Staff and customer service are great. Well worth the visit when in KDH.

This small mom & pop's BBQ place really hits the spot! Highly recommend all of the food and sauces! The atmosphere was very friendly, super clean, and service was faster than fast food. The food came out before we could get drinks and sit down. The manager here on 3/30/26 was very friendly and pinned our spot on the map! Thanks Pigman's!

My sister and I visited here for lunch. We were not disappointed! From the moment we entered, the staff was very welcoming and warm. The atmosphere was comforting. We had the pull pork sandwiches, fries, coleslaw, potato salad, swet tea, and hush puppies. Everything was good, especially the pork sandwich. It was so tender and melted in my mouth. Highly recommend!!

I had a wonderful experience at this BBQ spot. The gentleman at the register was very friendly, and gave me a rundown about the history of the place. The food was excellent! My wife had the chicken wings, and I had the pork combo. We'll be back in the summer.

If you want a good barbecue experience DO NOT eat here. The ribs are baked & have NO flavor or smoke. The greens, baked beans & potato salad are straight out of the can & have NO flavor. There is no vibe & it is not cheap! The staff just stood around with nothing to do/never asked once how food was or checked with us to see if we needed anything! The fact that the restaurant was empty should have been our first red flag. I would advise looking elsewhere for barbecue!

Beef brisket was like Mom's pot roast. It was not smoked. Baked beans came out of a can and they had zero flavor. In fact, bush beans are better tasting. The lady who took our order told us they had award-winning collard greens. They came out of a can. And there was no flavor. We actually threw the banana pudding out. Who throws dessert out? I will say this. I got fried okra and it was very lightly breaded and it was delicious. It might have been a little bit better if they would have given me the ranch that I asked for instead of giving me honey mustard. It was a huge disappointment. Because we love real barbecue.

Absolutely phenomenal experience- the sweet potato fries are amazing, especially with the secret sauce! We hope to be back on our next OBX trip!
