fabulous meal huge servings of absolutely delicious food. Staff was very responsive and quick to attend to our needs Food came out lightning quick cooked to perfection, and so tasty. Definitely recommend one of the best meals we had while visiting OBX.

Me and my family eat here 4/2/2024 @ 5 pm .. we had a wonderful waitress and the food was amazing . The drinks were on point !!! plenty to take home !!! If coming to the Otterbanks stop here you won’t be disappointed :)

Let me start off by saying, we have frequented the Plaza Azteca by our home in Virginia so we expected much the same. We were disappointed. I will say, the staff is friendly and the place is clean. The chips, salsa, and guacamole were on point. It’s the entrees that were lacking. Speaking strictly for myself and my vegetarian option, I have to say, I couldn’t eat it. The vegan tacos were filled with a vegan meat that looked super strange, rubbery and not edible. My hubs tried it and said it’s the weirded thing he’s ever eaten. The vegan cheese looks like an off color paste. My black beans were so dry they were literally cracking on my plate. My hubs was like, “WTH is wrong with your beans?!” Hahaha. I seriously ended up laughing so hard because it was so bad.The vegan tacos I was used to at our local location has a vegan ground beef substitute that’s pretty good and their vegan cheese looks like shredded cheese. Our server, though kind,took quite a long time to get us our check. It was like he forgot about us toward the end.To nutshell my hubs entree (carneasada tacos) he said it was cold and lacking flavor.It’s the outer banks, we were expecting better.
