The owner is so sweet and HILARIOUS!!! The ice cream consistency is perfect, not too frozen and not too melted. The hot chocolate is only $1.89 too! Best ice cream place in town!! Open when other places are not too

I wanted ice cream during one of the coldest days but needless to say my husband and I went here and it was great! The owner was pleasant and it was really good. Will come back again!

Got two ice cream cones around 6 in the evening. Sat down to enjoy them. Guy behind camera turns up the tv in the dining room to watch his show. kinda rude.

Yummiest icecream I’ve ever had, rich and creamy but somehow fluffy and light at the same time!!! My bf got cookies n crème in a waffle cone and I got a pumpkin and coffee shake!!! Best thing ever!!! Definitely my new spot for a sweet treat!

We decided banana splits for dinner and found this place. One employee and at one point 20 people in there. I felt so bad for her, but she was cheerful, helpful, and smiling.

Went here last year and loved the place. This year asked how many scoops of ice cream are in a large. Response we don't sell by the scoop its about 10 ounces(weird for a place called scoops), you won't be able to put a lid on it. We could have in fact put a lid on it. 1 large and 2 sundaes plus 3 cookies were $27 and definately not worth that much.

Love it so much I come here every year

We've been here in the past and enjoyed the ice cream. Last night we went and I asked how many scoops were in the large. I was told that its about 10 ounces and they don't measure by the scoop(odd for a place called scoops) but they wouldn't recommend a lid because of how much ice cream we would get. Suffice it to say the lid would have fit no problem. We alsoordered 2 sundaes and 3 cookies. Grand total $27 for not much ice cream. Save your money and go to one of the other great dessert spots in OBX.

We come to scoops yearly as our go to ice cream shop the waffle cones are fresh and as soon as you walk in you can smell the deliciousness! The ice cream is creamy and just what you want your ice cream to be. However, the ice cream is so good that the man scooping the ice cream licked his fingers not once but twice and then proceeded to make our other items which included a banana split. Our ice cream went right in the trash. I recommend having your employees wear gloves and train on the proper food handling skills.

Arielle, Amanda, and Rich were the sweetest to us! We have consistently come back to this shop for the great service and yummy ice cream. This is my favorite place to visit at OBX :)

Wow! We had delicious ice cream here. We arrived late and upon entry they told us that they were to go only at this hour. No problem! We were just happy they were still open. Server was helpful. Ice creams are HOMEMADE and delicious. Lots of topping options, great flavors. Highly recommend.
