One of my favorite breweries! Always great beers brewing, amazing staff, and awesome views on the rooftop outside deck! I love grabbing a beer and watching the sunset here.
Absolutely awesome time hanging here waiting out the rainy day! And PET FRIENDLY!
Gorgeous brewery, say upstairs in the loft since it was so windy after the Nor’Easter storm. Wish there were more options for sours/gose. Very warm and cozy.
Fun place with friendly staff and great beer and other beverages available
Great drinks. Cool bartenders. Chill vibes. What more could you ask for?
Amazing beers and classy digs! Swells’a is a modern brewery with surfer vibes, indoor and outdoor seating, and an upper level deck with great views! Plus the Jimmy Buffet Ruined My Life is the best IPA in the OBX! 🍻
Don’t not have long enough to try all the beers but got through a good few! Really nice spot insert a giant live oak tree. First rate beers and great friendly service. Hope we can make it back before we have to go home!
This brewery has a nice outdoor seating area and outdoor roof-top seating too. We went on a Thursday when they had live music (so so performer) and had a beer.
They don't have a restaurant on site and I actually prefer a place that concentrates on beer vs food.
Beer is delicious. Place is very modern. Clean and nice. They have beautiful backyard and roof top. Very kids and dog friendly.
Swells'a is always five stars. Great beer, great people, great vibes, just visit.

Opened in 2021, Swells'a offered a wide selection from a Vienna lager and coffee stout to a fruited sour and pineapple seltzer. Second floor includes an inside bar and outside roof-top seating overlooking the Atlantic. 'Chill Spot' golden ale brewed with vanilla and waffle cones.
Average beers at best and not welcoming service. This was a disappointment as we heard this was a great spot. We got a flight and of the 8 beers one was something I’d drink again. The Grapes of Wright was it, the others were drinkable but not anything we’d want to take home. The staff behind the bar seemed annoyed we were there and there really wasn’t any atmosphere for a brewery.
Very good beer selection, friendly staff, beer is great! The only downside is parking. If you are not from the area you don't know where else to park
Service was Great. Nice breeze on the top deck
Smells like what a brewery should smell like - fresh beer! Fantastic IPA (Jimmy B). Wish I could have had more - but will definitely return. Here’s!
