Ten O Six

We were at Kitty Hawk for a long weekend and this was the cherry on top of an awesome experience: the food was incredible, the Peruvian dishes were really tasty and the owner was incredibly hospitable and welcoming to our newbie-to-OBX curiosity, and the place and the decoration are really great! The only thing I wish they could add is some inside seating or a bit better seating outside, because it's really windy over there and you could end with sand in your plate. In the end, it was an excellent option and I wish we hadn't left it to the last day to visit this place!

Probably the best takeout for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Traditional and upscaled breakfast items, great lunch and dinner options. It’s our best takeout spot now in the OBX. Check them out. MP 9 across the street from the Outer Banks Beach Club. You won’t regret it. Breakfast burritos are the bomb! Best homemade sausage gravy I’ve ever had. Stuffed chicken bacon avocado wraps, and empanadas. #gogetyousome

Stopped at Ten O Six while visiting the beach and it was a great choice! The owner and his wife were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The food was consistent, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Being so close to the beach, it’s the perfect spot to grab lunch. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Ten O six catered part of our wedding rehearsal dinner and it was a great success. They delivered and set up the food. Everyone raved about the pasta and chicken. It was gone before the seafood.

One of our cousins loved the pasta so much they stopped by two days later to try to order it again! Would highly recommend Ten O six catering for your next event! Thank you Robin and the entire staff for making our rehearsal dinner memorable!

I read a review on here about how big and delicious the burritos were, and I can confirm this! They were big and pack full of flavor! It only to 10 minutes to get our food. The gentleman was very polite and professional. They had a good selection of coffee and energy drinks. Definitely will be back again!

I gave one star because I wasn’t allowed to leave no stars! The food sent was not enough! It was awful to run out of food! I want you to know that I ordered for 25 people They only sent 40 pieces of chicken and 40 pieces of ribs. Robin told me that I had to control the amount of food my family ate. There wasn’t enough Mac n cheese. Not enough bacon for my potato bar! She told me if my family members would take one plate with one item of each thing I ordered there would be enough food! Who eats like that? There wasn’t enough chicken for 2 pieces! 40 pieces feeds 20! I ordered for 25 adults. I didn’t even ask for kid prices! I had 4 under 5 and they didn’t eat from the buffet!

Yes we had potatoes left over and vegetables. But those were sides! My main meat chicken was gone! How do you count a wing as a portion? Mac n cheese came in a shallow tin!

That’s ridiculous there wasn’t enough Mac and cheese and chicken! Robin told the server to warm up the left over Mac cheese from the night before! Awful! I only had a wing so that my kids could eat! My husband had a drumstick! Just awful! We also ran out of bacon after 10 people! It was a potato bar! You sent big containers of sour cream and a small container of bacon ridiculous!

This was awful on your planning! I went with 25 adult portions and didn’t even get enough to feed my family!

I didn’t expect to find this gem. This had the most authentic Peruvian food that I’ve ever had in the US. Buenazo! Their American food was great too. Get their breakfast burritos!

Excellent food. My son loved his shrimp basket so much, we had to go back the next day for another. Fries are delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend.

Wanted a good sandwich, on the menu it says “best Reuben on the beach” and it definitely did not disappoint! I had the pastrami Reuben and it was amazing, thousand island is through the roof I wish I could buy a gallon to take back home!🤣
