We went here because of the Happy Cow reviews. The food was delicious. We started off with one order that came with two summer rolls. They were large and I suggest getting them for two. I usually am a person that eats a lot of food and if I had ordered a second appetizer I probably would not have been able finish my entree. The one summer roll for each of us was enough. The rolls came with a peanut dipping sauce. I had the Dahu Bhram. You cannot get this with no heat. The sauce must be premade and has some heat. If you cannot tolerate any heat, then do not get this. I would say on a 1-10 scale of heat, this would have been a three for me. I like a little heat, but just enough to know it is there. This is probably as hot as I would go by choice. I like to taste the food and I don't like sweating or having my nose run. This made my nose run. The tofu was fried and it came on a bed of broccoli. White rice came on the side. The thin sauce sits on the bottom so make sure you mix everything. It was good. My partner ordered the Vegan Pad Thai. She thought it was delicious also. She could only eat half of it because of the amount they gave her. Everyone at the table (there were four of us) had to take some of their food home. I was the only one to finish the entree. Three of us had the Budda Delight drink. It was good and tasted like fruit punch. The I am not sure how much alcohol they put in it, but I could not taste it. I don't know if that is a good or bad thing. Since there was no benefit to the alcohol, you might be better off sticking to the soda or tea. I accidentally ordered the Thai green tea and it was made from whole milk- I should have known better. I did not drink it and ordered the Budda Delight. My partner finished it. The server was great. Answered all of the questions and even removed the Thai green tea from the bill, which he did not have to do since it did not go to waste. The part of the menu that says 'Vegetarian' is all vegan but I would ask just to make sure incase they decide to add other ingredients in the future. They have a bar which seemed out of place in a strip mall restaurant, but a few people were sitting there by the time we left. It was a nice little place. The prices were in line of other restaurant prices. So overall a nice experience.

The food at Thai Room was solid, and the service was really quick.

We got our appetizers and main course in no time, and everything tasted good.

Didn’t get around to trying the desserts, but no complaints about the cleanliness - the restroom was tidy too.

The place has a decent vibe, with clean interiors and a comfortable ambiance.

Overall, a good spot to grab some Thai food.

A small thai place in the outer banks area. Food was very tasty, fresh and flavorful. Service was fast and very friendly staff. Highly recommend thier freshly made summer roll and drunken noodle. They had many dishes with vegetarian option. Note: their medium spicy was spicy enough 🙂

One of my best meals ever. 55 yrs old and a lover of Thai food. Had lemon grass soup with chicken (Tum Yum) and Pad See ew with chicken. Staff was very polite and helpful and even accomodated no scallions/onions. Pricing was very affordable for wife and I. Service was excellent. Outstanding. We will be back this week. Tip was 33% and well worth it. You definitely need to go here. Greg B. from Pittsburgh

Pretty good Thai food for the OBX. They also have a number of Chinese dishes as well, which are guaranteed to be better than you'll get at any of the Chinese restaurants in the OBX.
