We reserved one of the back rooms for a surprise birthday dinner. My family has been eating at the Thai Room since I was a kid and it is still consistently amazing.Even with a decent size party the service was phenomenal and food came out in a timely manner. Looks like they did a partial redesign of the interior in the last couple of years unless I'm mistaken. Not a fan of the decor but maybe im just nostalgic. Still a great place for lunch or dinner.

We travel a lot and always look for Thai food while away. I order coconut curry with chicken almost every time. Thai room was amazing! They ask how much spice you want and season accordingly. Make sure you know how hot mild and medium are and err on the side of bland, always with Thai food. They nailed it. Perfect blends of flavor. Our server was attentive and a pleasure. Thanks for a great experience.
This place was highly recommended & for very good reason! Best lo mein noodles I've ever had. Me & my husband both usually add shrimp or duck sauce but we both agreed the flavor is perfect on its own! Crab rangoons were really good!We stopped by and placed an order to-go, was told it would be about a 40 minute wait but it was ready sooner. Super friendly service, we will definitely be back!

This place is awesome, very authentic, quality Thai food and large servings. Servers were all extremely nice. They also serve Chinese food, which we didn't have, but it looked great as well at some other tables.

Quite a pleasant little restaurant in strip mall. In Nags Head. Everyone pleasant and helpful. Staff worked as a team. Food was fantastic! As others have said, large portions, fresh and delicious! Had the Pangang Curry... So good with layers of flavors. Husband had the Thai special... Loved it! Eager to return!

Pros: Hole in the wall feel Real heat, I always get medium at Thai joints but would suggest mild here Pad Thai had complex flavor and a generous portion Lots of vegetarian choices on the menu Must try the sundried beef Attentive service Cons: All 'Chinese' chicken dishes are heavily coated in breading like puffy sweet n sour then coated in whatever sauce you ordered, do not recommend it. It will not be the dish experience you're looking for. If you do not arrive exactly when they open, then you should expect a wait to be seated and also a wait for your food.
