We first discovered this cute little cafe when we drove past it on our way to our Airbnb. We looked up the reviews and menu and decided to try it for dinner. The staff was very friendly and service was phenomenal! I really wanted to like this place so bad, but the entrees were a miss. I ordered the salmon, which I will say was cooked PERFECTLY, but lacked so much flavor. There was very little of the sauce on top which would have helped the flavor profile immensely. I got hints of salt here and there on the perfectly cooked crust, but that was it. The bleu cheese mashed potatoes were the entire reason I ordered this dish, and I hate to say they tasted like normal mashed potatoes to me. I’ve had some really amazing bleu cheese mashed potatoes before, so maybe my expectations were too high. My fiancé got the pork tenderloin, which was again, cooked to perfection. It was incredibly juicy and tender, but it lacked flavor like the salmon. The au gratin potatoes he got were pretty boring as well. It sucks to say we didn’t enjoy our entrees, as everything was cooked perfectly, just lacked any flavor. I will say our appetizer was phenomenal and dessert as well!
OBX fine dining. It doesn’t get better. Pan seared flounder with lump crab and beurre blanc.

Food was delicious and the service was excellent as usual! The She Crab Bisque was a wonderful beginning to the dinner. My husband enjoyed Shrimp and Scallop Napoleon, and my Salmon and Crab special could not have been better!

I cannot give this place more than 4 stars because the parking situation is so bad. I cannot stress this enough. There is no street parking and the parking lot has no lines so it is a free for all. The restaurant is good but tiny.

Amazing food! Excellent service! I am terrible with names, so I don't remember our waitress, but she was amazing. Everyone should try this beautiful, classy restaurant.

Setup Upscale. However not all guests dressed up. They were not turned away which is nice that you have the option to dress up or not. Great Service, Great Food. Have not had a meal my wife and I did not like. We will be going back again and again.

Eat all the things. Fantastic food. The fanciest feast on the sandbar.
Absolutely fantastic!! The most quaint location. Our server Steve was prompt, pleasant and accommodating. But the best part was the food!!! Cooked perfectly and tasted delicious!! I can't rave about it enough. We git the brie appetizer, filet and crabcakes and the filet Dijon and coconut cream pie for dessert. Bring your appetite!!

Great experience. Party of 6. Seated at our reservation time. Great atmosphere in an old Victorian house turned restaurant. Fresh tuna was delicious and melted in mouth like butter. I also had tenderloin medallions in a sauce I can't recall but it was also delicious. Other had crab cakes, and a scallop/shrimp dish. The desserts were large and yummy. Can't say enough about the service!! It was a fair price and nice portions. The only small negative was the she crab bisque. Although it was delicious, IMO needed a tad more crab. Overall, I would highly recommend dining here if you are vacationing in the area.
