Great service and super food!
The wings were delicious. The flavor of ranch was unique but I loved it and can’t stop thinking about it. Loved the chips that came with the spin dip and the burger I got was also delicious. I’d definitely hit this spot up again.

We searched for this place as we are not from the area. At first sight, you pull in and see a little diner. And then you see how packed the parking is. But keep driving to the rear of lot. Friendly patrons usually wave you to a parking spot if any. This place was packed for lunch on a Friday mid November! Wait was 20 minutes. We went to bar to wait.,Asked for local spirits and bartender suggested local Kill Devil Rum. I tried the Butter pecan rum with coke and what a smooth yummy rum! Had the beer can shrimp which was great! We got seated in a booth. It is packed and a little loud but servers so friendly and efficient. Had blackened halibut on home made mashed potatoes. Another person had the swordfish. Entrees at $20. Very good. Big portions. Key lime pie amazing, chocolate pecan pie very very chocolaty! We will return.

One of the best visits to a diner I've been to in a long while. The best seafood chowder I've had, most amazing Keylime Pie that I've ever had. Loved everything I tried. My friends did as well.

Fantastic experience. We were promptly seated on a busy night, it was a Tuesday. Our drinks arrived right away, from the bar, and our food arrived w.in 18 mins of being seated. I had the shrimp pasta, which was delicious! I will definitely be back on my next trip to OBX.

Not sure where to start except with avoid, save your money, and plan otherwise. A local recommendation for our first OBX drive since moving to the beautiful state of NC from TN. Probably should have known better from the built on "diner trailer" look as we pulled in, but what a crowd? Disappointed to find out that it's no more than a cozy little bar for locals to gather and have fun instead of a fresh seafood/american place to eat, and I wouldn't even say that. I had a plate of 10 bland overcooked shrimp sat up on a 1/2 pound of dry linguine pasta, covered with an 8oz can of "Ro-Tel" for $25 (no taste, no bread, no salad & took about $5 to make), my Husband had the Big Crab Patty plate $32; two subpar sausage sized patties, a side dish of pathetic cole slaw and some very over seasoned fries (I would have been ashamed to serve this lunch sized dinner/trash to anyone, little on a grown man who is also a US Veteran, with a man-sized appetite & since it maybe cost you $7 to make, maybe).. Our Granddaughter ordered chicken tenders & fries from the kids menu which was sadly the only decent looking dish we got, after we placed her fries in numerous paper towels to try & get off some of the "homemade" Lowery's seasoning mix that they saturated all the fries & chicken in. The chicken was still overcooked and very dry as well as tainted with black spots from the seasoning mix and kids don't do black spots.. I'm just disappointed and I wanted to walk out but I kept my mouth shut for my Husband, as he wanted this trip to be a nice one.
The OBX; just breathtaking and we will be regulars! I grew up in Flagler Beach Florida and I love the beach, especially one that receives love from it's people!

They came highly recommended but it was the worst meal I think I have ever experienced. The crab cakes I ordered looked like 2 sausage patties and were not very fresh at all. The wife had the shrimp pasta and it looked and tasted like it was frozen warmed up in a microwave not fresh.
No thank you. Too pricey for sub par food. Do yourself a favor if you are coming for the food go somewhere else. They were more concerned for the people at the bar. Won't make this mistake again.

This spot was recommended by a friend who had just traveled to the OBX just a few weeks ago. Said he always gets one of the daily specials & the key lime pie. For us, the service, ambience and the food were all top tier. The highlight of our evening was our excellent server, Joni, convincing us to try the key lime pie even though none of my party of 3 have ever chosen that particular pie for dessert…LIKE never, UNDER any circumstance. But hunny, let me tell you… that pie was EVERY thing! Out of the four desserts we tasted, the pie was our favorite! PS - ask for Joni! Her vibe was spot-on for us.
