Probably the best Mexican restaurant in North Carolina! I’ve gotta say, the horchata is AMAZING and the food was ?????? perfect? definitely recommended if you’re over this way. You HAVE to stop by!

The owner and another person had a ver loud argument while I was trying to enjoy my meal. Despite my complaining, the "discussion" continued albeit on a slightly more quiet scale. IF I ever come to Amigos, it will be take out. Advise to owner, have your conversations with employees out of earshot of customers!!!!

Stopped in on the way home and was pleasantly surprised. Bonnie was our waitress and we loved her! I have some food sensitivity and she answered my questions. Bonnie was attentive and treated us like family. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back. Ask for Bonnie if she is working.

Chips were… very stale. Chewy? Asked for new ones three times, all the same… cheese dip was lukewarm. Waited a LONG time for the food… 45 minutes or longer… this was at lunchtime, it was a Sunday but it wasn’t slammed or anything.. I can’t complain about the food itself mostly, it was hot and not too bad. The rice and beans were… strangely plain. Our waitress wasn’t super attentive. Overall, the main course was tasty, but I wouldn’t come back.

Huge portions and super friendly folks. We ate on the patio and that was perfect. Food came quickly and there's a steady stream of people.

If you don't have religious reasons or your not vegetarian then you'd be fine. But lard is in a lot of their food.( vegetarian is still made with lard, black beans and the refried. The yellow rice is made with meat broth, the white rice is a good alternative)

Always a good meal and a good price. Food seems more authentic than other chain restaurants.

No one acknowledged us when we walked in. Eventually a girl told us to pick a seat. Then we waited a long time for a waitress to acknowledge us. She was terrible. Lacked confidence. We had to ask for straws and plates. The food took a long time to come out. Beans and rice were lukewarm. I could go on but suffice to say it was a bad first experience and we won't go back.
