We stopped here after hiking the morning at Hanging Rock State Park. We searched on Yelp for a place that was not part of a chain, was not ‘fast food’, and was casual. We hoped for one with outdoor seating because of the beautiful weather. We liked the reviews we read. As promised, the outward appearance was unprepossessing; it is in a strip mall. The outdoor seating is two picnic tables out front on the sidewalk with an expansive view of the parking lot. The interior is bare bones tables and chairs with a bar at the rear and a small desert bar just inside the door. They have a good selection of beers on tap. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with fries. The sandwich was OK. Nothing special. Hard to ruin pulled pork on a bun with cole slaw. The cole slaw was minimal. The fries were processed potatoes. My Wife had the club sandwich. I have never seen one like it. Toasted white bread with ham, turkey bacon, tomato, a slice of American cheese, and mayo. The turkey was thick sliced turkey loaf and looked so unappetizing my wife had to remove it. Frankly, I was surprised she ate the sandwich. The ham and bacon were good. The surprise was the potato chips that came with it. They were clearly made on site, were crisp, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese, and were delicious. The place was clean, the service friendly, and the beer was cold. Would I go back? Maybe in the right circumstamces. Would I go out of my way to go there? No.

We decided we wanted some pub style food so we went here and probably shouldn’t have. First when we came in someone was sitting at the register counting money, which was fine, however she did not even acknowledge that we were standing there. 10 minutes go by and then she finally says “what can I get you?” No apologies for waiting no acknowledgment that we were even standing there. Anyway, We asked if they could make us cheese fries, they said yes. So we ordered them along with our meals. You know what they brought out? Fries with COLD shredded cheese on top. We asked them if they could stick it in the pizza oven for a few seconds to melt the cheese on top and they said they didn’t have a way to melt it. Then they begrudgingly melted it for us while talking crap about us. There was no music on so we heard every word. Not sure if they were mad at us after that or what but the rest of our food was cold when they brought it out to us. Very unfriendly experience and made us feel very unwelcomed.

I came here hoping for great food, and unfortunately that’s not what I received. I ordered 10 wings (hot) and should’ve asked for extra crispy. Some of my wings were rubbery and two of them weren’t cooked thoroughly. I asked for carrots and celery and was told “we don’t have any” even though it was on the menu. They also ask for a tip at the register before you get your meal… I don’t care for that, because I don’t know the quality of service I’m going to receive. They only bring your food to you, they don’t wait on the tables. Asking for a tip pre-meal is misleading. I’ll be back, a lot of the other customers food looked great. 10 wings and a drink + 15% tip was over $20 which is a bit excessive I feel, especially when the quality of food is, what it is.

Man it would be hard to improve on that Philly cheesesteak. Excellent!! And the hot chips don’t disappoint. Our only complaint was the slowness. Stay away if you’re in a hurry.
If you're missing the Stratford BBQ biscuits for breakfast, they're across the street at Foothills grill and tap sis and a couple of the young fellas have moved over there for breakfast so come and get it. Let's keep them going! They have breakfast until 11:00 am and the biscuits until they run out, but they make breakfast sandwiches along with the regular menu until 10:00 p.m. so you can always get something of a breakfast type even late.
Parking: Huge parking lot in comparison to the Old Stratford BBQ parking lot. Plenty of parking.

Stopped on a road trip for a coffee. Very casual, very friendly, excellent service, and lots of fun coffee flavors. Was impressed by how tidy and clean the coffee station was as well.
