I ordered some wings and fries as a side as well as fried pickles as an appetizer. We waited for 20 some minutes and my main course came first and then the fried pickles. That was the first thing that I thought was kind of annoying. Our utensils came in a plastic baggy and they were still wet from being washed which is just gross. There were also a ton of flies in the building. Ew. The fried pickles were soggy but I didn’t mind much I still ate them and the fries were actually pretty good, however my wings were incredibly crunchy. I basically couldn’t eat them so I told the waitress . The waitress then brought over the owner who I then also told him about the wings. He responded with “They are fried wings not baked so they are supposed to be like that” so I told him again that they were too hard and basically inedible. And he responds with “they’re supposed to be like that but I can take them off the ticket” so I got no apology but still taken off my ticket at least. I usually never complain about food like this but when I am genuinely unable to eat the food I feel the need to say something. This response from the owner was unacceptable and I saw many reviews with the same issue of poor customer service. Please do not go here it is not a good place to eat.

This was my first time eating at this place. I had heard it was good from friends so I visited it yesterday. The atmosphere was great! The food was excellent and there was a ton of options for sides with your meal. I've seen a reviewer to that said the help left something to be desired but that was not the case on my visit. Everyone was nice and I even got to have a conversation with the owner. I will be returning on a regular basis to The view!

Was the perfect stop after a day of hiking Hanging Rock State Park to get some grub. Burger was cooked to perfection. You can tell they take pride in the food, service and selections offered. The fried green tomato and okra was amazing! Will come back!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well, we didn’t get a chance to even try the food. But from what I seen, my 9 year has prepared better food and it seemed to be all warmed up. We sat at our table for approximately 20-30 mins. Never got so much a menus or the table cleaned off. Next, a group came in after us and was seated immediately and within 2 mins they were given menus and drinks. So we wait just a bit longer. The waitress then came to the table next to us took their order and took off with the menus once again. Even had a family next to us complain why we hadn’t at least received menus yet. The waitress literally made eye contact with us and just walked by. That was the last straw, so we politely got up and exited the building. 10/10 don’t recommend.
1st time here and it will NOT be our last. Hamburger was excellent. Service was very good. I consider myself hard to please too. King needs more of this.

The View Cafe is a must try! The food is superlative and the staff is always friendly. I also love the scenic view of the surrounding mountains! The new dinner buffet is a hit with me. I'm very grateful to have this wonderful local gem.

The first time we went for lunch the food was good, so we went for breakfast the a couple days later. We got our food take home and my wife ordered the breakfast bowl, she got about half way through it and found a beetle cooked into the eggs. Needless to say we won’t be back.

My daughter and I ate here 6-11-25. The service was great. We got a grilled tenderloin on croissant and it was the best! The croissant was toasted to perfection. Tenderloin was amazing. Kudos to the chef. I definitely recommend this place. They’re great.
