12/20/25 First time trying US Hibachi. I hesitated due to the low review score and reports of small portions. I had received large portions from a competitor in the past but not on my most recent visit, so that combined with new reviews of US Hibachi being under new management led me to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. The taste was deliciously on par with standard hibachi takeout, meaning if you like hibachi, you won't be disappointed. And the portion was double that of a competitor. When they asked if I wanted soup or salad, I thought they were trying to upsell me, but it came with it. The salad was iceberg lettuce with some shaved carrot and the ginger sauce was good.

Update 12/28/25. Tried dining in this time. Delicious again. Friendly service. Maybe they can get a new Google maps listing so that the low scores during the previous ownership won't be held against them.

This place deserves praise. The new owner, Lan, is making a lot of excellent changes and improvements! A small, cozy Japanese restaurant — warm lighting, no pretentious attitude, and the moment you walk in, the staff acts like you’re a long-lost cousin finally coming home. The environment is family friendly in the most genuine way: not the fake “throw a coloring sheet at the kids” version, but a sincere attentiveness where everyone is treated with dignity and warmth. The food? Exquisite. Rich broths, delicate flavors, fresh ingredients that taste like someone’s grandmother actually cared. Every plate arrives with meticulous presentation, but never at the expense of taste. You taste real craft. You taste real pride. Try the appetizers! They're delicious! And the service is unmatched. Attentive without hovering. Cheerful without forced smiles. The servers there remember faces, remember preferences, and remember that hospitality is a noble vocation, not merely a paycheck. In a world full of chain mediocrity, this little Japanese spot is a reminder that excellence still exists… hidden in a cozy corner, quietly thriving, and making people’s evenings meaningfully better. U.S. Hibachi is King's best kept secret. Enjoy!
