Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings

Zaxby’s is one of those places I can always count on when I’m craving something tasty and filling. Their chicken is super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside — and that Zax Sauce? Seriously addicting. I could dip just about anything in it.

The vibe inside is chill, and the service is usually quick and friendly. Whether I’m in the mood for wings, a big ol’ salad (shoutout to the Cobb Zalad), or just some fries and a drink, they’ve got me covered.

When I came in here I immediately greeted Dana and she made sure that my food was perfect. She deserves a raise. Her crew was amazing and they are all top tier. You guys need to come here . Best location in the area.

Went to the drive thru yesterday after placing my mobile order and was met by a friendly staff. I had ordered a 3 pack of cookies but didn't realize that they forgot to put them in the bag. Almost immediately after driving away I received a phone call from the restaurant and they told me about the cookies. I circled back around and they gave them to me. They even threw in a couple extra for the trouble. Kudos to this team for going above and beyond for the customer. The owner and manager should be proud of this team.

I got a takeout blue zalad from Zaxbys on Reynolda rd and it was fantastic!! Lettuce was crisp and chicken was amazing!! I recently was craving the same zalad and stopped at Zaxbys on Ingram Dr in King and it was so bad I threw it away. It looked like it had been sitting g at room temp all day!!! Not cool!!!

Man, where do I begin… Our last trip to this Zaxby’s location was reprehensible and unacceptable, even for a fast food restaurant.

Food:
- Chicken was extremely dry, hard, and tasted as if it had been sitting under a burner all day long.
- Fries were soggy and had zero salt.
- Sandwich wasn’t constructed properly.

Service:
- We walked up to the counter with one person ahead of us, and as soon as he was done with his order, the associate at the register just walked off without saying anything, and my wife and I stood there, waiting to order our food for 10 minutes straight before we had another associate walked past us, didn’t even look at us, and she said “he will be right with you”. It was another 10 minutes before the previous associate came back.

- When the associate returned, we were starting to order, and he interrupted us and asked us to step aside so a previous customer could finish paying out due to a payment issue they had. Seriously??? Why wasn’t this taken care of before us? After making us wait for 20 minutes to order the food, then you interrupt us?

- Once that associate was ready to take our order, we ordered our food. My wife (very clearly) ordered a 5 piece boneless wing combo, and the associate put our order in wrong as a 4 tender combo.

Atmosphere:
- The restaurant dining room was absolutely FILTHY. Wrappers, straws, soiled napkins, spilled soda, food pieces/crumbs, ALL of which covering basically every square inch of the dining room. Trash cans overflowing, no wet floor signs (and my wife is at a fall risk due to her pregnancy, so this was extremely concerning), and the speakers overhead had a painful, annoying high pitch whine to them.

My wife and I elected not to complain to any managers or corporate about the long list of grievances, as we were on a time crunch and determined it wasn’t worth the hassle.

I HIGHLY recommend avoiding this Zaxby’s location, unless some serious positive changes take place.

I had an amazing experience at Zaxby’s! The chicken was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I tried their signature Chicken Fingerz meal, and it did not disappoint. The portion sizes are generous, and the fries were seasoned just right. I also love the variety of dipping sauces available, especially the Zax Sauce. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Zaxby’s is the perfect spot for a quick, satisfying meal. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

I’m a local so I come here often. Over the last few months, I’ve noticed the speediness of the service has taken a dip in performance as well as the quality of the food. To summarize, I’ve noticed I’ve been waiting longer and my food is drier and not as fresh. Not bad, but could be better.

We got the 20 piece tenders Zak Pak. The chicken was good, the toast was toasted, but the fry compartments were not even half full. The Zak Pak is supposed to come with 2 large orders of fries, and they were medium orders at best. And I'm being generous by saying medium. I was disappointed with this . The picture shows those compartments filled to the top. That was NOT what we got. You'd think that for $34, they could at least give you the right amount of fries. Other than that, it was good. But the floor in the restaurant desperately needed to be cleaned.

I am still waiting after 45 minutes for my curbside pickup order
