I ordered an adult chicken strips meal. The chicken shrimps were as small as index finger. Never have I seen such tiny tenders! All 5 of them were that way! This restaurant has really gone down hill!

If you want to eat at an establishment with a waitress named Emalee who has an EXTREMELY RUDE attitude, water that tastes like mold, horrible management then boy do I have the place for you!!!! Cherokee Grill 238 is complete JOKE of an establishment. My in-laws and my family ate there tonight and let’s just say we will never be setting foot in there again. It all started with the water we ordered. When we took a sip, it tasted AWFUL. I mean the fact that they have bottle water on hand to sale you because they know the water tastes bad is shady and downright pathetic. They charged us for asking for lemon. They even charged us for having six in our party when we had 5 adults and two kids who were only 2 years old. Because one child was ordered a kids meal, they automatically charged a 20% gratuity. The waitress named Emalee snatched the receipt ou of my mother-in-laws hand, was rude, short, didn’t check on us, and the list goes on. When we asked to speak to the manager if you want to call him that wearing the Santa hat, he couldn’t even apologize and supported her questionable behavior and tactics. Absolutely bad service, bad food, bad water and bad management.

Their service was terrible and their water tastes like dirt. They should tell you that the water is bad before giving it to you. They charge you for a kids drink even though the menu says it’s free. I would highly recommend staying far away from this place.

Location was great since we had driven quite a ways to see a play nearby. Atmosphere seemed great as well. The food looked and smelled wonderful but we never got to taste any of it. After an hour wait, we walked out. We got sat in a reasonable amount of time. The place was busy but not a long wait to be seated or for our order to be taken. From then it went downhill. We got there sometime after 1, maybe between 1:15 and 1:20. Ordered a gyro and a cheeseburger. The waitresses were working hard, we could see they were moving all the time and food was being served. Smelled good and we started to feel hunger. Our waitress came by and said it shouldn't be much longer, that was the last we heard from her. It had already been a wait but we had time so were patient for a while. We waited asked another woman to check on our order and she came back and said our ticket had only been "hung" 20 minutes before. This was about 45 minutes after we were seated and untrue. But we figured her asking would get us served. Nope. We ended up walking out at 2:25 so we could be seated before the play started. Not enough time to enjoy the meal, especially since we had no idea when we would be served. My suggestion to customers, note the time you arrive and mention that time to your server. Don't be so patient but stay in touch with the staff so you don't leave hungry and, honestly, HANGRY. We will not return. Not because of the wait, necessarily but because we were told we had not been waiting long. We were seated for over an hour before leaving. Far to long for a sandwich.

We went in and had a decent size group. Ordered ribs every one else got food and we were told after all of there’s food got to the table they were out of ribs. Was still charged for gratuity and no sign of management. Had to go to some where else to eat because we didn’t want to make everyone else wait.

Our 1st visit to Kings Mountain. Found this restaurant while visiting the casino & it did not disappoint. Loved the atmosphere & it was clean. Everything on the menu looked delicious & reasonably priced. Several appetizers to choose from & we went with the Fried pickles...they were served hot & delicious with a great dipping sauce. The timing of the entrees was perfect. We actually were able to enjoy the appetizer before the salads were served. Excellent salads too! Loved the way they had the ingredients chopped in bite-size pieces with small croutons. Upon finishing the salads, the entree was served & was equally delicious. We never ran out of drink or had to ask for anything. This will definitely be our go-to spot when I return to the casino! Charming town too & the Grill is located right next to the park. Staff was friendly & we loved it!!!

There was 6 of that went the other night and we wait over 20-30 mins on our drinks from the bar. Other 30-45 mins on food that came out wrong. Other 15 mins to pay our bill. I was very disappointed from this place. It wasn’t busy at all either.

I’ve been to Cherokee grill several times in the past and I’ve always loved this restaurant. I went last night around 8 and had the worst experience. The host looked like she hated her job and when we were sat our server came up to us with cake in his hand and said he will be back when he finishes his cake. He came back like 8 minutes later and finally got our drink and appetizer order. We got to order like 10 minutes later. I wouldn’t be bothered by this if it was busy but mind you there was a total of like 15 tables in there total tops. When we got our food it was all sub par, I had the pimento chicken and it was burnt on the bottom, my boyfriend had the Alfredo and the sauce was basically water. Overall the food and service was not good and I left very disappointed last night. I’m a restaurant manager so I’m very understanding when it comes to places having a bad night but last night everyone was too laid back and no one was acting like they actually cared to care for their guests.

The server ignored us over bigger tables, our order came out wrong so I ended up waiting to get my meal until my husband was done and still had to pay for it. $50 dollars spent on cruddy service and lack luster food. Just save yourself the time spent inside and go home to cook.

Dietary restrictions: Ordered my pimento chicken with no mushrooms or bacon and it came out with extra it seemed. Took an hour for them to make it the first and second times and it wasn't even that busy. Disappointed to say the least.

Great. I had a salad, so it's kinda hard to mess up. Our server was really sweet and attentive while being busy on a Saturday night.

The food was disappointing. The stew soup was watery and lacked flavor because it was overly spicy. The dirty rice was also very spicy and resembled an unappealing version of traditional dirty rice. My husband prefers a more country-style preparation, but their cut green beans did not match that at all. Additionally, their "million margarita" was just a small, regular drink—definitely not worth the name and price. It took over 40 minutes for our food to be served at our table, and it wasn't worth the price they charged.
