REAL butter would validate the experience and is my minimal requirement! Very good biscuit but terrible margarine was offered as their only available option... which totally ruined it! A clean, noisey, and altogether Spartan atmosphere greets the customer. My cheerful server was nonetheless more than adept and she gave 200% effort to the crowd, but she had by any measure far too many tables to tend. She yet managed somehow (by constantly running her legs off in an exhaustingly nonstop marathon), so I did give her a well earned 30% tip. However unfortunately she was obviously "spread thin"... muchly resembling the way melted margarine (inside the tiny portioned, plastic peel-off ramekin), and the non-likelihood of me returning anytime soon. Real butter would have definitely raised my food rating for a meal that was otherwise of good quality and taste.

One of my favorite places to eat for breakfast or lunch. They serve delicious southern home-cooked meals, with items like pinto beans and fried okra available to order everyday. My favorite is the vegetable soup with a grilled cheese. It's very hardy, and so good. Their desserts are also incredible. You really can't go wrong with anything they offer. There are new specials daily, with other menu options available to order any day.

I didn't even make it in the door the door says they're open till 1:00 I was there at 15 till they turned me away there wasn't even any customers in there to eat and this isn't the first time that has happened. Last weekend I got there at 15 till and they were already closed and sitting in their car ready to leave. They told me they quit serving people at 12:30 because they wanted to be out of there and leaving at 1:00 not a very good way to run a business. If you want to be home by 1:00 then you should change the hours on your door they were very disrespectful I will not be returning

We stopped in Kings Mountain, returning from Lenoir to Columbia, SC. A quick Google Maps check led me to this restaurant (I prefer “locals” places). We enjoyed lunch here - cheeseburger and fries for my wife and fried chicken strips, okra and a salad for me. The food, service and pricing were excellent. I noticed too that the owner is celebrating her 20 year operating anniversary this year. I highly recommend Chat-n-Nibble.

The best breakfast around! Me and my grandson eat breakfast at Chat and Nibble almost every Saturday . This is my favorite. I also love their daily specials at lunch .The service is outstanding. They truly treat you like family.
