Quickly received our meals. Everything was good and tasty , we had a chat , we had our nibble. Good Lord Almighty sweet tender vittles. But yeh def give em a try for an old school mom and pop restaurant feel and the atmosphere you miss from 30 years ago. Food actually worth it's asking price and peace of mind knowing youre supporting a real family that actually does their jobs well.
REAL butter would validate the experience and is my minimal requirement! Very good biscuit but terrible margarine was offered as their only available option... which totally ruined it! One of my favorite places to eat for breakfast or lunch. They serve delicious southern home-cooked meals, with items like pinto beans and fried okra available to order everyday. My favorite is the vegetable soup with a grilled cheese. It's very hardy, and so good. Their desserts are also incredible. You really can't go wrong with anything they offer. There are new specials daily, with other menu options available to order any day.
