Hwy 29 Grill

I come to the area once a year and this is one of the places I always try to stop at. It's one of my favorite places to get good old southern comfort food.

I used to go here all the time before they changed management... now I have only been 3 times due to expensive prices and rudeness and very unkind behavior not to mention that one time it took me two hours to get a call in order and I waited 30 minutes before I left to go pick it up and still never received my food cause they kept forgetting to cook it and I only ordered a large order of potato wedges... food does taste pretty good just to many other issues for me to waste my time or money....2 stars and thumbs down 👎👎

I have to say that this place is good, I work at Eaton so it's close by to grab some food. I usually just get the hot dogs. Today I went and got 6 hot dogs and a large sweet tea and was charged 22.47$ didn't realize it till I had left and was like well that's kinda high. Anyway, I felt like I got suckered. I guess that was my donation for the week. Other than that good and service is good

Storm hit the town.. One of the only places open. The 'cashier' was stressed out and kind of rude. Didn't even get food from their. Wont go there again though.. They don't deserve a second chance

I would highly recommend this little diner. It's everything you'd expect of a diner. Service was prompt and very friendly. We ordered, with help and suggestions from the staff. We only had a short wait for food. It came out hot and fast. My wife ordered the chopped steak with grilled onions and gravy, mashed potatoes and vegetables. She really enjoyed her meal. She actually moaned with her first few bites. It was that good. I ordered a double cheese burger. I should have just gotten a single burger. The double was so big. Everything was delicious.
