Mountain View Restaurant

Place could use a good cleaning and updating but our waitress was amazing and so was the Thursday Special Turkey and Dressing. Yum and I highly recommend that. That’s the only experience I’ve had here but I will return. But seriously clean floors and windows and curb go a long way!!!

This is one of my favorite places in Kings Mountain. They have the best home style cooking, and great selection. It is an older restaurant, and has been around a long time. My family eats here at least once a week…wonderful food and wait staff.

My order was messed up, server got correct food. Hubby got spagetti and meatballs. Said it had a funny taste. Ate enough not to go hungry and left the rest. I got fried seafood, and it was mostly breading with very little meat. Deviled crab had tons of dressing but I never did find any crab. Disappointed.

Beware of bones in the chicken tips. First and only time visit. Won’t be back.

I needed a good meal for lunch and today's lunch was spectacular. I got the Thursday special. $12.45. Included turkey, dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce, roll and cornbread, two sides.... I got green beans and candied yams. It was hot and delicious. I was served by a very polite and attentive server. Got iced tea too.
There was plenty of food. I really enjoyed it. I'd highly recommend.

All their food is good. We love all their vegetables, we don't go for the looks of the inside or outside, and they remodeled their bathroom.

This is a local small town restaurant with good food, great portions, and great staff. It reminds me of some of that Greek diners I used to go to in New York their menu is they have something for everyone.

We had lunch there. Grilled Cheese with bacon and the Club Deluxe. Tasted good, would give the food a 4.5. Good prices. Old place. No complaints for an old non-fancy diner type place.

Great food except for the dressing. Dressing tasted like Stove Top Stuffing, not old fashioned cornbread dressing. Pork chops and sides were delicious. Servers were friendly and very helpful. Good parking area. We will be going back.

They have very generous portion sizes. It has a home cooked appeal. I would not recommend sitting on the left side. The ice machine is very noisy. It is a humble place.

Best meal I’ve had in months at a very reasonable price! We recommend the BBQ plate!
