I wanted my Dad to have a nice cake for his 75th Birthday. In the past I have used national services for cake delivery and had bad results. I wanted to use a local bakery this year. With one days notice they made a custom cake (cherry sundrop) and delivered it on my dad’s birthday. The experience was wonderful. The cake was delicious and moist. The delivery was flawless. It was easy to order and pay for the cake. This is my go to Shelby bakery.

This is the only bakery I visit when I have a sweet tooth and want to indulge! Every item I have ever tried from cookies, to brownies, to banana pudding to cupcakes has been absolutely fantastic!! You can’t possibly beat the service! She goes above and beyond being friendly, she cares for her customers and she definitely puts her love and time into every one of her products!! If you leave there unhappy it’s your own fault and you must just be an unhappy person because I have never been there and not see her with a huge smile on her face welcoming you in!

The shop is cute and in a great location. I stopped by today and ordered a brownie and a cannoli to go. When I got home the cannoli tasted like soap or some sort of cleaner and it was totally inedible. Not to mention the shell of the cannoli was stale and the filling was more like frosting than actual cannoli filling. The brownie was just ok. I'm not opposed to trying this place out again, but hoping for a better experience next time!

Bought a banana pudding, tres leches cake, and 2 cupcakes - orange and strawberry. These were all very average. No passion, tasted store bought, or from a box.
Nice presentation of deserts, just no real flavor.
Good way to start my day, i live close, but they don't open until ten. Went back at 2, closed because it is Monday. Shelby is the only town I've seen that opens at 10 and closes at 8. I'll go back when these guys are out of business and the next one opens up.
