We used to love coming here however it has significantly gone down hill over the last few years. The restaurant is so dirty everywhere. Looks like an inch of dust on the curtains and the staff's shirts are covered in stains. Absolutely no effort is given in the quality of food, not to mention the owner clearly doesn't have a clue that some patrons do not want to hear your political views. So inappropriate!
Very expensive for so little food that took 30 minutes to get 91.5 food grade The cook uses his shirt as a hand towel Sweet tea is very weak It’s our first time since Covid and we won’t be back
Was talking with friends and told them that I was in the mood for a good cheeseburger. They told me that I needed to go to Swooger's and order a "Mountie". They also suggested that I get a milkshake because Swooger's sells Tony's ice cream. So, I called Swooger's to place a 'to go' order. Honestly, the lady that answered the phone sounded like the last thing she wanted to be doing that day, was taking my order. I asked her if they had chocolate-peanut butter milkshakes and she said, "I don't know. Hold on." She then yelled and asked someone else and I heard a faint "Yeah". I drove to Swooger's and went inside. Since this was my first visit I wasn't familiar with the pick up process and I walked up to the counter. There were four ladies working in the kitchen area and neither of them even acknowledged my presence. One of the ladies walked right by me taking an order to one of the tables. She didn't look at me; say "I'll be right with you", or anything. After delivering the food she walked back by me without even making eye contact. A minute or two later a young man came in from a side room and asked if he could help. I told him that I had a call in order and gave him my name. He got my order and handed it to one of the ladies, who rang up the order. Again this lady never spoke except to tell me the cost. I paid for the order and started to leave when I noticed a "tip jar" sitting near the register and I thought, "surely you jest!" Well, took my food home and was very disappointed. You need to know, I LOVE cheeseburgers. I bit into this cheeseburger and the meat had been cooked to death. All of the flavor had been cooked out of it. I could only taste chili and onions. Next came the chocolate-peanut butter milkshake. There wasn't much of a chocolate flavor and only a hint of peanut butter. When I got to the bottom it became evident that they broken up a Reese's peanut buttercup in the milkshake thinking that was going to give it peanut butter flavor. I can now say that I have made two trips to Swooger's; first and last.
This place is okay, My wife wanted a chocolate nut sundae and this was the only place we could find that was open so we drove 45 minutes to get her a Sunday, then she took two bites of it and something didn't taste right and she couldn't eat it. I thought maybe it was her but I took a bite and had to spit it out. I think the wet walnuts were bad. She didn't want to complain because that's all
she wanted. I had a hamburger that was okay though. I wouldn't drive 45 minutes to get another one but if I was hungry and this was the only place open I guess I would eat one lol

20 years ago this place was amazing. Went yesterday and got a double cheeseburger. It was the greasiest burger I have ever had. Bread was falling apart so bad I had to use a fork to eat it. I will not get a burger again

The food is nice and the atmosphere/theming is even better. The Tony’s ice cream is so good. The owner can be mean, so I try to avoid him.
