I ordered an extra shrimp sauce and did not get it. Also the chicken tastes burned. I called to let them know and the rude person in the phone said I had to bring the food back and prove the food was bad because no one else has complained. I explained this was my lunch and I had no other choice but to eat so I could not bring it to him. His response was then he could not do anything about it. I said that was not very good customer service and that I had spent $13 for terrible food so I would not be back. He said ok that is fine. I guess they have enough customers willing to accept extremely poor quality food and rude employees that they do not care if they loose business.

I'ma attaching a photo showing how y'all use to be last year. Cause how y'all are lazy and over priced. I called in an order y'all said 10 minutes I arrive in 9 y'all cook was in the phone and waited til I got there to make the order another 5 minutes I don't have for something that should've been done. No excuses he was on the darn phone playing games not even texting. DO BETTER. Until then I suggest everybody go to the one in Shelby North Carolina. They work hard and Are decently priced.

I went through the drive through to order my food. Was told to pull forward as usual. A little man brought me the food and I left. When I arrived home there was no shrimp sauce in the bag. I called and explained the situation. The girl I spoke to said that I could come back to get it. My husband was on his way home from work so he stopped to pick it up. The owner basically called me a liar when my husband said they forgot to put it in the bag. Like they never make mistakes. I don’t appreciate being called a liar and will never go back. Yamato if you are hurting for money so bad over a cup of shrimp sauce you may want to rethink your business plan.

They charged for food I didn't receive. When I went back in they were rude and didn't replace or offer to fix the issue..

Okay I order teriyaki plate, spring rolls and Diet Pepsi. Over $17 was paid, was given my drink and asked to move car. No problem doing that, one car in front of me. Young dark headed girl came to my window after she gave food to car in front of me. Asked what I ordered, I told her a teriyaki plate and spring rolls. She then gave me the bag. This is the same young lady that I didn’t have a good experience with on my last visit. I am not sure but she doesn’t need to bring out food anymore. This visit I didn’t get to eat until after I ran several errands. Wasn’t happy with mushrooms instead of broccoli and I was really upset because I failed to get my spring rolls. Last visit was slower after moving my car forward, the young lady came to my car and asked me what I had, keep in mind that I was the only car there. So I don’t know when I will return.

Terrible tasting over priced food. They charge 15 dollars for a plate of rice carrots and zucchini with a side of carrots (picture of amount of food attached). It also made me feel sick afterwards. The place isnt clean at all, looks very dirty on the inside and out. Would not recommend.

This place used to be FANTASTIC!! But now its terrible. You can tell they have cut back on their portion size and especially their sauce! Their sauce is practically water.
I get prices have rose, but don't take it out on the food!!!! Just raise the prices and keep the food and the sauce consistent; like back in 2019. It all makes me so sad because they used to have the best shrimp sauce.
Anyways, it has went downhill. When I have a craving or splurge I can no longer eat at this place because of how crappy and cheap they've become.
I would not recommend unless they go back to their original sauce and portion sizes.

What happened here? I haven't been in years now I remember why. The food was absolutely garbage! I threw most of my food away because it taste horrible. You can't trick people with food that's not fresh and springs rolls cooked in old grease. Has no taste.
It was really nice inside and clean and the bathroom was clean and they served our food pretty quick 😁

This place doesn’t even need 1 star. Shouldn’t have even ordered after walking in the place with how nasty it was. Then after I was eating my lunch I thought I noticed a bug in my food. And after digging it out it definitely was. I was then sick at that point and took my plate directly to the counter and the lady just turns around and looks at the cook. Like this has happened plenty of times and says sorry. They did refund my money after I requested a refund but at that point that’s not enough. And just want to add. The food that I had eaten before I found this bug was not good at all. It had no taste and was definitely the worst Japanese restaurant I had ever tried. My employee that was eating lunch with me felt the same way and he also threw his entire plate away after seeing the bug.
