Husband and I wanted Italian, well I did and he went along. We ordered the Philly Style Steak and Cheese sub and the Shrimp Alfredo. All I can say is wow! The sub was so delicious, bread crunchy and you didn't have to look for the steak. That Shrimp Alfredo was hot, seasoned just right and ready to eat. The portions for both our choices were very substantial. It was our first time eating at Carolina Pizzeria, but I promise, God willing, it not be our last.
This restaurant has the best Stromboli and calzones in town! They serve hearty portions chock full of fresh ingredients. I highly recommend it over the other “Italian restaurants” in Kinston. Other restaurants have tough chewy crust, lack of toppings, and charge more. Try it once, and I guarantee it will become your go-to Italian place! “Buon Cibo!”
This place isn’t much to look at from the outside, in fact if you weren’t looking you might drive right by, but inside is really nice, service with an attentive smile and the food is terrific. Sorry, Pizza Villa but the Carolina Pizzeria and Grill makes a better pepperoni pie.
