Our first time in Kinston and our first time at Catch 22. Lovely people and great food at very reasonable price. We loved the fried oysters ( cooked perfectly), the well seasoned fries, and the slaw that had sweet pickle relish in it that I didn’t anticipate liking, but did. Wish we lived closer!
I tell you one thing for sure first time I heard about this restaurant I heard nothing but good things. Second thing me and my two sisters went there to eat for my first time. Third thing and you can count that and take that to the bank sandpipers in La Grange has nothing on this restaurant. The prices is good the food service is good the atmosphere.. I would never want to eat at sandpipers no more! Hands up this is a good restaurant if you have not tried it please try it I can't...
The food was perfect! A previous reviewer had commented on the salads being too thin and with too much pickle. That is exactly the way I like my salads!! I ordered a small two piece meal and the portions were more than enough. The people are very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I will definitely be back when I visit Kinston again.
