Tonight was the worst experience I’ve had with Cook Out. To start, the employee at the window was unprofessional, displaying arrogance and providing short, unhelpful responses. The food was equally disappointing. The double burger tray seemed far from fresh; the patties were hard and the fries were overcooked and stiff. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this is not an isolated incident. If employees are not willing to provide good service, they should consider stepping aside. Customers deserve quality and respect for their hard-earned money.

Double chocolate shake was all chocolate. How does that happen? By the time I tried to eat it, I was 20 miles away. Years ago, cookout was at the top of their game, not anymore. Things like this seem to happen often there now. Maybe some QA, training and accountability are required.

The shakes are a must! I love the chocolate shake, and the Oreo is a close second. But the fresh watermelon shake for the summer is quite refreshing! Everything’s great. This is my go-to stop for a cold cup of cheerwine!

Always pretty good fast food. Always clean restrooms and dining area. Their milkshakes are the draw. Front person in Kinston at 9pm on July 14 was absolutely the right person, in the right place, at the right time! Give her a raise!!
