Love the food here. Staff is friendly. San Juan has been one of my families favorite Mexican Restaurants in Kinston for several years now. The fish tacos are delicious. And the cheese dip is always a must.

This place has really gone “Down Hill” in the last few years. Had a take out lunch pollo salad which was supposed to be grilled chicken with grilled bell peppers and onions and instead O got a salad the size of a cereal bowl with very little strips of chicken, no grilled bell peppers nor onions, on a bed of lettuce with raw purple cabbage, cucumbers, and a few pieces of diced tomatoes! Was horrible! And for $8.50…?Really? That’s why I take my business elsewhere even though...

I saw a sign that said you could order these lunch specials after 3:30 at a extra cost. I asked the server and she asked and they told her no you couldn’t order off the lunch even for an extra cost. I just didn’t want to order a big dinner plate. As far as the food it was delicious. I just don’t like to read something they have posted and then they don’t honor it as advertised.
