This is a good place to eat, the reason for 3 stars is only because the building old and dated....Buffet style, good home style cooking at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly I like eating there when I am in Kingston. It usually an older crowd so I fit right in.....

It use to be a good place to eat but lately the food has turned aweful. Collards...I'm sorry but, baking soda has no reason being in collards period. If you want to take the green taste out of collards use a little sugar, it works every time. Thank you, and God bless.

This was the worst place ive been to EVER! The buffet setup dont make sense and the food was all bland. The place was so hot I couldn't even eat. The other customers were loud and rude. The wait staff was very nice and attentive, that was the only good thing I can say about this place. I wouldnt suggest anyone ever go here. It was the biggest upset.

This place has good down home southern style cooking. The addition is that their new staff waiter and waitress tries to please customers on lunch hours on weekday. The reasons I did not give a five star is I absolutely do not consume pork of any kind and most of their cooked vegetable contain it. However, the slaw, potatoes salad, hushpupies, and my favorite is the old fashion sweet potatoes pudding is very palatable. Occasionally I eat their fried fish which is pretty tasteful and fresh on this visit. Another addition is their restrooms are cleaned and stocked on week days. The price is good for the amount of foods provided. They seem to truly appreciate their customers.
