This bar is incredible. Travis welcomed my family and I like a friend we had known our entire lives. I’d come back to Kinston just to go to this bar.

My husband had visited this place numerous times and sent me pictures of his fancy cocktails so when I was in town I wanted to go. It's a tiny little place, about the size and shape of a train car. When we walked in the bar was packed three deep. There was a street festival going on outside and the bartender was absolutely slammed with people ordering drinks and beers to go. Because of that all the drinks were being served in Red Solo cups -- so much for my pretty cocktail. Oh well, I'll just have to go back! I ordered the Bucked in Mexico and it was absolutely delicious. So good. The atmosphere was great -- lots of friendly people, music fitting to a saloon and a nice little outdoor area.

A fantastic local watering hole. No pretensions here. Travis, the owner, was tending bar. A down to earth, salt of the earth kind of guy. Worth a visit, but a little tricky to find as Google maps takes you to the local park behind the saloon.

What's not to like about this place? Fun little hole in the wall, great bartenders, great drinks! The owner Travis is a hoot! One of the coolest people I've ever met - he's an old soul? And, the "Granddaddy" is a bonus!

Nice local place. Doesnt look open from the road so you almost miss it (needs an open sign). The bartender was very friendly. The place has its own unique appeal. Great place to have a drink.

It's a small bar but it feels like home as soon as you walk in. It is the quintessential neighborhood pub and I had such a nice time there. Travis made me a wonderful drink made of blueberry and bourbon that was fantastic. I wished I lived closer so I could go more often.
