So the product was fine. But the store was so dirty. And the bathrooms were disgusting and filthy! From the toilets to the floor to the wall. And one bathroom was without toilet paper. I get places get busy and they only have but so many people, but i was the only person waiting to give my order inside the store which took so much time when two baristas were just walking back and forth and chit chating to each other counter while a customer was just standing there. And then after my order was taken by one of them, she just went back to refilling supplies instead of making a plain coffee and an americano. So the drive thru barista made my coffee(s). Which truly no big deal, 2 coffees just took 15 minutes and its not the end of the world but I'm one person and i had the simplest drinks to make.

Drive through on the morning after Christmas (10:30ish). We ordered a chai latte and a reg latte. The woman who served us seemed quite peeved. I asked for a pup cup of whip cream and she rolled her eyes?? I just feel like she could be a bit kinder. Maybe she was having a bad day but what that gotta do with us lol! My bf asked “which one is this” and she just pointed to the cup and then pointed at me. Usually when people serve a drink, they say the name of it lol

Love that Kinston has Starbucks. Now I just need them to open another one on the hospital side of town!!
I always have good experiences at this location. I think once my coffee was handed to me and I told them it looked a little darker than usual. The guy working the window was training (his first day) and the lady training him was like “yep it needs more sweet cream, sorry about that!”
They made it right and I was on my way., no one is perfect and no business is perfect.
But I receive good service every time I go here and that matters more than anything!!

This location is extremely slow. I placed a mobile order at 8:30am and didn’t leave the store until 9:05am. It should not take half an hour to make one drink. My advice is to order in store as mobile orders seem to be their last priority here.

Ordered a medium latte with a pump of pecan syrup. Received a small iced one very sweet. I told them. They remade it but it added about 10m to my visit. I saw them put about 5 pumps of syrup into a small cup. At least it was hot, but this so sweet it was not drinkable for me. I was out of time so I gave up. Waste of time and money. Maybe it was a bad moment, and I hope this isn’t their norm, but I’m disappointed.

Employees here are quick with getting drinks out even during busy hours! I have never had a problem getting the incorrect drink and their breakfast foods are always delicious. My only problem is the lack of customer interaction. It’s very rare I get an employee that says hello or good bye. There have been several times I’ve greeted the drive through attendant and only gotten a blank stare as a response. Thankfully there are a few good workers, especially the young man who helped me when my old truck broke down in the drive through and even pulled his own vehicle around to help. If not for the efficiency and few good people that work there, my rating would be much lower.

Parking: Very tight parking lot, be mindful of larger vehicles

I had an excellent experience at the Starbucks in Kinston! The service was outstanding—friendly, fast, and welcoming. The baristas were attentive and made sure everything was perfect. As for the lattes, they were absolutely amazing—rich, smooth, and perfectly crafted. It's always a pleasure stopping by this location, and I look forward to returning for more great coffee and top-notch service. Highly recommend!

Batista argued that I didn't order a cookie. She requested that she see my phone. When I returned with my phone, the printer started working again. The staff thought I wanted a free cookie and that I was pulling one on them. The cookie tasted old. And it wasn't warm. I will contact Starbucks headquarters for a refund

There has always been a shortage of something at this establishment. It is really unnecessary for me to have to travel to Greenville or Goldsboro to enjoy a variety of my favorite Starbucks beverages. Whenever I visit my hometown, it is the same thing. We are out of certain items. Oh my goodness, please do not let this gem be wasted in Kinston as well.
