I'm so disappointed in all the time I have been to Sugar Hill!!I have always been treated good and the food has always been good! I'm not sure what happened tonight but I'm so angry that I had to post this..one of the regular girls that works at the front that wear the glasses..went to give me plates that I asked for. Well when she went to give them to me they fell on the floor I said sorry I don't want them..she mumbled something to the other girl that was standing next to her and they both started laughing. I asked her would you eat off of plates that fell on the floor she said it wouldn't have matter to her! I told her please don't ever tell a customer that because that was very nasty and for you to say that your very nasty. I told her I have been coming in here since y'all opened and I love this place but I'm very disappointed tonight! I'm also a food reviewer so u really need to watch what you say and do to people because she was being real mouthy to me saying she can say what she want and this and that.To bad I wasn't recording at the time..Smh Bad customer service on her behalf! I guess it was just one of those days!!?

Sugar Hill Pizzeria is fantastic! The service was top-notch—friendly, fast, and attentive. And the pizza? Absolutely delicious! The crust was perfectly crisp, the toppings were fresh, and the flavor was spot on. It's clear they put a lot of care into both their food and their customer service. I’ll definitely be back for more. Highly recommend!

We've eaten here several times in the past and looked forward to eating here today. But, sadly, it was the worst piece of pizza we've ever had. Extremely dry. We bought pizza by the slice. I got pepperoni and my husband got Supreme. They were the standard large size slices. But, unfortunately, they were so thin and dry it was like eating a pizza flavored cracker. Terribly dry, no sauce, 5 thin pieces of pepperoni on the whole slice. Very sad. The young gal that has always worked the counter was still very dry and unfriendly. So, no surprise there. But, because the food has degraded as well, we won't likely be back again.

The food is the only thing I can say that’s good here. This was the first time my husband and I tried Sugarhill pizzeria and we walked in and were greeted to zero smiles and zero personality from 2 girls at the register. We ordered to take home but because this was our first time here, I didn’t know what came on the subs or what came with it so when I asked, I got a lackluster response like she could less, I kind of apologized saying this is our first time here but again could care less, there was no warm reaction like “welcome to Sugarhill pizzeria! Please come back“ nothing like that .. totally indifferent whether we were there or not it’s almost like I made her come to work. This is our first time here and probably our last time here. It was a tossup between this place and another down the road and maybe we should’ve went to the other down the road?? I thought business was tough in Kinston, but I guess you got all the money you need and your employees don’t care whether we are there or not. As I said in the beginning, the food was good and by good I mean it was OK nothing amazing or anything just OK. I mean how can you mess up a sub anyway? Comes with chips, and most of those were stale, and a tiny tiny teeny little pickle on the side.

I have always loved this place when I found it awhile back. BUT: exciting news This pizzaria has gluten-free pizza and it's good! I will say do extra cheese in my opinion and its a personal pan size. And there is a touch of gluten (had some symptoms of intolerance) so cileac people beware. Probably just some cross contamination from the dough. Other than that! Definetly worth ir.
